Texas tax account number
So several years ago, I set up QB Online Payroll and I used my cell phone number at that time. Since then, I have a new cell phone number and I have changed my account to that new number years ago. Now, years later, we're changing banks to a new bank and when I go to verify the bank account it wants me to verify I am how I am by sending me a 6 digit number to that old number. I no longer have that mobile number, and I have called support over and over for a month now trying to get that number changed. I have uploaded my ID, Faxed in the information, talked to and chatted with support. All I get is they start a new request and the process starts all over again because they say it has to be done by backend support. I've asked for escalation, to speak with a supervisor, and more; just to be hung up on or told that there is nothing that can be done; but to escalate the call. How many times do I have to escalate it? 1.&nbs
how can I change pay period dates
I paid my 9/30/24 payroll tax online via e-file. The total for several tax accounts was $13,018.80.My bank shows the payments cleared on 9/30/24 but quickbooks shows it cleared 10/1/24.Intuit did something and now my reconciliation report is now correct but my balance showing in Cash account does not reflect the payroll tax payments as of 9/30/24 so shows overage of $13,018.80 and Intuit can not fix since account was already reconciled. So that my Cash account shows the correct amount, would this work to make this entry in Sept. and then reverse in Oct? Credit cash $-13018.80Debit Bank Clearing Account $13018.80If so, what type of account is a clearing account?
The direct deposit of employees pay does not match the paystub.
helpl!
When entering payroll, QuickBooks is blocking my Catch Up 401K Contribution - saying that I'm going to go over the $7,500 limit. I'm nowhere near going over the limit yet. How do I unblock this, so I can enter my contribution, and complete my payroll?
taxes due are listed for state we dont do business in
For QBO not DesktopWe have been using a 3rd party app called Dancing Numbers. It worked great. In the last month, it stopped working. QuickBooks support says it is Dancing Numbers and Dancing Numbers says it is QBO. Honestly, I believe it is QBO. Here is what we need:1) Import time for contractors/employees using an Excel spreadsheet or .CSV2) The time needs to appear in the "Time Entries" of QBO. Thanks
If I use the Add Employee, a message popup saying. "Another employee, vendor, or customer is already using the name. Please enter a different name."
The hours I entered match my timesheets but somehow the quickbooks payroll period dates are not in line with what the hours I have paid on. This is going back at least a few pay periods now.
I want to pay my providers by a fee split. I want to set them up as employees so taxes are taken out of their checks. Does anyone know how I would set this up or enter into Quickbooks?
How to record an employee information that quit.
Location is on, it is allowed to run in the background, it has unrestricted date usage, etc. I've restarted my phone and deleted and reinstalled the app. My phone says it is ready to track trips, but it isn't.
Where can i find Form 941 for 1 year in quickbooks
All of our employees are classed to their assigned class/department.
Hello - I have spent 4 hours on the phone with QBO today (including Level 3 support, QB Live, Payroll, etc.) and not a single person was able to help me. Here's the basic issue:Our payroll expense in our P&L is ~60% higher than it should be. This is due to QBO classifying both gross pay via QB Payroll as well as the direct deposit to our employees for net pay as a Payroll Expense. If I take all Payroll Expense transactions, we have the following labels below. If you add up everything with payroll check, you get an exact match to our payroll. However, all of the "expense" classified items add up to 60% of the Payroll check figures (mostly driven by the wages expense) and are resulting in much higher overall payroll expenses than actual. Payroll Expense: Health Insurance- Expense- Payroll Check (Accurate) Payroll Expense: Taxes- Expense- Payroll Check (Accurate) Payroll Expense: Wages- Expense- Payroll Check (Accurate) So my two questions are: 1) how d
