I contacted support 4 months ago as when I am entering a bill and I click on add new inventory item it does not populate my existing categories as it did before as it now only gives an option to create a new category. I received 2 emails the same day I called where they claimed to be working on it so after 3 days I called and they said they are still working on it and that other users are having the same issue. After 4 months I have no confidence that they will fix it which is so disappointing as I am paying $90 a month for the subscription (They just raised it $10 last week) vs. the desktop version where I paid about $300 a year on average buying 3x versions since 2005. So I am paying 3x times more for a product that is worse than the desktop version but also does not work as well. I was also sent an emails so I could take a survey but when I clicked on the link it opened a window saying the survey expired, was hoping to take the survey as maybe would get this fixed as I am not
Good Morning, I am about to enroll in Quickbooks Training Classes but there are a LOT of programs out there. Can anyone suggest what they think is the best online Training Classes and does anyone know what Quickbooks recommends to be the best. I will be going for the Certification Exam afterwards so I need a good program. Thanks,
I am looking to sync Quickbooks Desktop Pro with Gusto. When I click to sync is GUSTO, I say my account fields need to be mapped. It states download your chart of accounts? Then it states to create and IIF file and then you can automatically sync and update the journal entries. Not working at all for me....Gusto says ask QB and QB says ask Gusto?
So I'm recovering data from a corrupt hard drive in a Mac. It had QB 2013. The QB2013 file is not opening in QB for Mac 2013 anymore. I get the error:The document "x" could not be opened. The file isn't in the correct format.The file might be corrupt, truncated, or in an unexpected format. The newest backup I could find on the drive is from 7/29/19, more than a year ago, and understandably it's smaller than the more recent file which is only 2.27MB. I know QB for Windows has File Doctor which is good at finding issues and repairing. But QB for Mac doesn't seem to have any type of repair tool other than the integrated Utilities repair options, which require the file to be opened in the first place. I've opened the file in Notepad, I'm on Windows now, and compared a lot of the unreadable characters which all seem to be very similar to the backup file. I am uploading multiple invoices via the template provided, in to the create invoices section. I want to be able to send the multiple invoices AND have the email send, include the attached file I have attached with the invoice. In the single create invoicing, you can check the box to "include" the attachment with the email send. How can i do this in the multiple invoice template processing?? thanks
When I process client invoices, I do not print. Rather, I save as a pdf. The invoice looks perfect in the print preview, but when I open the pdf, the invoice is off center - cutting off most of the amount column. Nothing I've tried in either Adobe or QB has solved the issue. I've attached an invoice for your reference.

I'm receiving this message "Microsoft word cannot be found" when trying to print collection letters. QB 2023 desktop version. Export to excel is also not working. I have Microsoft 365. It used to work properly.
I am attempting to upload my 1099s to tax1099 from Quickbooks desktop for Mac (2022), and I am getting error messages for both of the companies that I support. Both messages say "Company information problem". One message says the company file is missing a phone number, and the other says the company file must have a complete legal address. I double checked the company preferences and that information is complete in both cases. I have called Quickbooks support and also contacted tax1099 support, but neither could help. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a successful resolution?

I was subscribed to Plus a couple of years ago and the subscription ended last year. It appears I had a grace period to continue using the software although I didn't know it. I thought I could simply unsubscribe and use the desktop version without any online features, but clearly I was wrong. Now I'm locked out of my account with the last backup file being created in January of this year. I'm a small business (more of a micro business) so it wouldn't take long to re-add invoices if I needed to. My question.... I subscribed to Simple Start thinking that would give me access again, but was wrong again. However, can I migrate my business to Simple Start and pick up where I left off? I'm not thrilled with losing desktop, I prefer total privacy and independence. I can't spend the $600+ annually for Plus, this would eat too much of my profits. I need a cheap option. Honestly, if I could access the desktop software long enough to back it all up, I'd import that into my 2018 desktop softw
Anyone else get screwed by QBO lately with switching to the new invoice template that apparently does not support progress invoicing, then going back to old style - turning "progress invoicing" BACK ON..... only to find out you will only be able to progress invoice new customers from today on because you just turned progress invoicing on today ?!?! ?!!!!!. This is absolutely not acceptable., I never turned progress invoicing off. Attempted to try a new layout suggested by QB without knowing the new layout wouldn't allow progress invoicing... only to have the rep on chat tell me "Sorry I cant help you." Engineering is working on fixing the issues. Well that doesn't help that I have hundreds of customers in my system that I still need to progress invoice, and now I cant. I was told I have to manually enter each now. I am NOT HAPPY to say the least. DO NOT TRY THE NEW TEMPLATES IF YOU PROGRESS INVOICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have re-checked the information, business name, address and EIN and it matches what is recorded with IRS. I recently received a new EIN number, but waited several days before attempting to file 1099-NEC's.
This software is incredible give QBDT the ability to insert a formula within invoice or estimates, its like a macro in excel that snap QBDT and process with custom field andy customization invoice or estimate, Intuit Team do you know if they still partner of the company? or why dissapear for the market those people, do you know a similar sw that help me integrate formulas?
