We have an employee with Full Access that is not allowed to see full details in the check register, specifically with payroll. In QB Desktop she has full access. In the Intuit Account User Management she has secondary admin roles but that is all I can add. I cannot set her up with Payroll Manager or Payroll Processor. I suspect it has something to do with the Intuit Account User Management roles as I have both the additional rolls on mine and I can see that detail. How do I add those roles to her permissions?

Hello AllI started working with a company that uses Sage 100. We do not use this software the way it should be used. We are a subcontractor in the commercial and industrial world of painting. I would like to switch to QBO or QBD since I have experience in that area. I need to know what the limitations are for how many jobs one can have or any other limitations. I also would need to charge payroll to these jobs but my payroll is processed and paid via ADP. Any suggestions or knowledge would be great.... please pass along everything..... questions included. Thanks!
It seems that I might have to re-enter the banking information when I change them back to direct deposit again. This is not a great option.
When processing donations, QB defaults to Undeposited Funds as the account it goes to. I'm trying to run End of the Year Giving Statements but there must be an A/R account associated with it. I have unchecked the Default to Undeposited Funds button and return to the donation page but the donation page does not allow A/R accts to be used to deposit the funds. Is there a better way to accomplish this or maybe a work around?

I have recently taken over the books of my client from a previous bookkeeper and he set up a fictitious bank for him to manage the bank transfers and undeposited funds. However, we are showing a negative balance of -$263,961.87. I can not reconcile the bank since it is not a real bank. I cannot get the books to balance due to this fictitious bank and other major mistakes he made. Please advise as to what the best way is to handle this situation as I would like to start the new year with balanced accounts.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I manage a dog boarding kennel. We purchase large amounts of dog food. Most of it we use in the kennel. I keep inventory so I know when to purchase more. It is already an expense when we pay the bill. Sometimes clients purchase a bag, so rightfully, that decreases the inventory. But as I decrease (inventory adjustment) the inhouse use it adds it to my sales. How do I do a correct inventory adjustment? Please let me know if you have any questions to further explain.
When I set up a member in quickbooks online, it seems I can only put in one email address for the member. Is it possible to add more than one email for a member. I want to see if I can send an invoice to two email accounts. I added an attachment here which is a screenshot of my attempt to put in two email addresses when setting up a new member or customer. I tried different ways, but it only accepts one email. Can I have more than one so that when I mail an invoice, it will pick up both automatically? Thanks!

When using the IIF template to upload into Quickbooks, I noticed that an error report will be generated when the account is spelled wrong or non existent but yet Quickbooks will auto create a new class if the same was true. How can I prevent Quickbooks from creating new classes when it was due to a spelling/input error. Thanks in advance

Hello, I am new here and have a question. I am currently doing a sizeable job for a client and ship (print work) to customer on 12/28/23. I usually would invoice the same day, but my customer requests the invoice dated 1/2/24 - which I understand (bringing it into next years budget). This will mess up my books as I would like to show this work in this fiscal year. Is there a simple solution for my inquiry? I run my books on cash-basis, but also look at accrual to see actual work performed? I would like to see the work on the Sales-Sales by customer summary and other financial reportsThank you.
The Modern form is now the default and there's no going back. That's fine. But not only did the "invoice details" section get screwed up (now appears below the customer instead of to the right) but there seems to be no way to change the margins. I'm not mistaken, am I? The margins are ridiculously small (about a quarter inch) and invariably a line item gets split across to pages -- category on one page, details on the next. Help?
Payments from Venmo are recorded in my bank account as deposits without, naturally, identifying customers. Is there a way to set up QB for Mac to import and identify the customers the payments are attributed to? Thank you. Much appreciated.

I have a quickbooks desktop file that got corrupt. I have a backup from 10 days ago. Can I use that backup file together with the most recent log file to repair/restore the data from the last 10 days? Thank you
