I have made a bill pay payment from QuickBooks checking account and the money was taken out from that account. However, in the bill payment it shows that it was taken out from another account. When i try to change it it shows a message "Once a bill payment is scheduled through QuickBooks Bill Pay, fields like Payee, Bank/Credit account, Payment date, Mailing address, and Amount can’t be edited." What can I do now???
They are making this difficult to get taxes taken care of.
Different customer types get specific discounts. As of now, I have to go into each customers info to check their type while creating invoices to see which type they are. I've seen articles stating that it's an option to add the type to the invoice customization, however I do not have that option. It's such a waste to have to go into each customers info while trying to bill 20 different people. It's not even an option to add to the customer summary tab that's opened next to the invoice. It seems like such a simple task, I can't understand why it's not an option. You would think customer type would be important.
I have a payment on hold but no email and nothing showing in the resolution center. What do I need to do?
How do we use the past due invoice email templates in Desktop? I have to manually change my regular invoice email template every time I have to send a past due reminder. It's frustrating and time consuming. Especially when we have it listed as an option in preferences. Go to company preferences, select overdue invoices, create a template, select it as default. Go to a past due invoice and select email and it brings up my same basic email that I send when I initially send an invoice, not the past due one. Do I need to create a new invoice that's automatically past due? Surely not, that's stupid. I would assume it would detect that it's a past due invoice and would automatically select that template. When you go to send the email you have an option to select a different template but only from the invoice templates, not the overdue invoice templates. I suppose a workaround would be to create a past due template as a regular invoice template, but I would prefer for the program to just work
I want to start by saying how much I HATE Quickbooks Online. It's supposed to the most innovative but it is the worse piece of arse of an software. HERE ARE THINGS THAT DOES NOT WORK OR QB JUST LIKE TO MAKE PEOPLE SUFFER.- cannot delete multiple transactions in expenses. No, it does not work. Why can't I just go to expenses, click on the transactions I want to delete and delete them all. It does not allow me to. - Why can't I search for key words in the transactions and pull up all expenses relating to the title? Impossible.- Oh and the cheapest is $30 a month for an outdated piece of ish. The best software was from Godaddy Bookkeeping. Too bad they went out of business. Has anyone found anything similar?
How do I get a live agent to help me?
I need a report to distribute at production meetings to see who has requested " time off " both approved and unapproved time off. We would also use this report for scheduling workers for workflow? What report shows who has asked off for the next few weeks or few months?I would like to be able to narrow it down to dates in the futureI would specifically like to see vacation requests. Vacation requested is I dont care about anything in the past, only the future. ThanksLDO
why does american express show up under the accept cash or check in receive payment
This seems ridiculous. Nothing I enter in the memo field during bill entry prints when I print checks. I have not been able to find a work around. As a small organization, we do not typically print more than 5 to 10 checks at a time. It is painstaking to print checks then find out this essential line-item is missing. In QB Desktop, we had multiple vendors where the memo line defaulted to our vendor account number instead of using invoice numbers. This is something that should be happening automatically. Hopefully, I am overlooking something in the QBO settings to make the memo field print properly. If not, we will have to look to moving back to the desktop version.
I need to set up a user with the permissions to run all reports and be able to print and or download the reports to Excel. They should NOT have permissions for transaction input. I would like to have the step by step process to get this set up. I set them up with View-Only but they were not able to print or get the reports downloaded to Excel.
Hi,Is there a way to contact support via email?I can't find their email anywhere:(Thanks.
Granting Employee Access to Projects in QuickBooks Online Hello fellow QuickBooks Online users,I'm reaching out to the community for help with a couple of issues I'm facing in my QuickBooks Online account. Hopefully, someone here can provide some guidance. Accessing the Projects Section First and foremost, I need to give one of my employees access to the Projects section within QuickBooks Online. However, I cannot seem to find an option to select this user type under the User Roles settings. It appears that QuickBooks rolled out the Projects feature without properly implementing the necessary user permissions. This is quite frustrating, as I need certain employees to be able to manage and view project-related information, but I don't have a straightforward way to grant them access. I would appreciate if the QuickBooks team could address this oversight and provide a clear path for granting selective access to the Projects section. Inconsistent Banking Information Acce
Does anyone have experience with FIFO inventory costing and multiple inventory sites? I just discovered that it looks like no matter what site your inventory is located (Arizona or Florida), QB Desktop is taking the FIFO costing from the oldest material no matter the location. We received material in Florida on 1 receipt, then sold all the said material to 1 customer on 1 invoice expecting a certain profit from that sale. When I dug deeper into why the profit was so much lower that expected, I discovered that QB was taking FIFO costs from other inventory sites where material was older. FIFO shouldn't be doing that, especially when there are multiple States involved. I also found material in Arizona was used for FIFO costs in a sale that originated in Texas where are material actually is located. FIFO should first point to an inventory site, then use the FIFO for that inventory site. We have always been on FIFO, we never had average costing so I
I’m using QBOA and trying to use spreadsheet sync with either Google Sheets or the cloud based version of Excel. While I can import data from Quickbooks, I can’t edit or add data to the spreadsheet and have it be pushed back into Quickbooks. From my research, it seems that I should have the option to “Create or edit records” in the right hand sidebar menu. But I don’t see that option in my sidebar. I’m attaching a screenshot of what my menu looks like.
