quickbooks said there is a pricing change and it will be $6.50 per worker in addition to the $50 monthly charge for quickbooks payroll core. Is the $6.50 per worker only per active worker? Or are previous employees who are marked as inactive also billed $6.50 per month?
Hello, Recently my client (501 (c)3) printed their Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports and the titles had automatically changed to Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Activity. However when I go into their QBO account as the accountant and print the same report it still shows Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss. I checked the settings and the company type is properly set to Nonprofit. We are not sure how the switch happened and for consistency I would like to print the reports to match what my client prints. We both use the same process, the only variable is that I sign on as the accountant and they sign in as a regular user.What I don't want is to manually change the title to match theirs every time. So any suggestions? Thanks!
It's still broken. See case xxxxxxxxxxx on your side, Intuit/QB Team. I recreated the issue with a support member on the phone. Then a few days later got a message saying they couldn't recreate it. Here's an easy way to recreate it. 1. Set up an item as not taxable. 2. Set up a customer as NOT tax exempt. Make sure they're in a taxable state like Wisconsin. 3. Create an invoice using the item created in step #1. Make sure the ship to is a taxable state (like Wisconsin). 4. The item should not be checked as taxable as the item itself is set up as not taxable. This is correct. 5. Check the taxable column on the item in the invoice. 6. Watch the "taxable subtotal" change to the correct amount. 7. Set sales tax to "automatic" 8. Notice no sales tax is calculated. It's a HUGE problem. I will not call in again and waste an hour to do this again. F

I made the mistake of upgrading to Quickbooks Pro 2025. How do i downgrade to 2024.I'm not paying more than a thousand dollars for 2025 when I bought 2024 desktop for $225.00It's not worth that kind of money when 2025 is essentially the same program with no visible improvements. How can Intuit justify that steep a price hike for the same program?
All other employees are showing up in QB time kiosk so they cna clock in and out except for one employee. This employee is properly added as team member. Is there something wrong with it?

In Create Payroll screen...there are several payrolls with a rec circle and exclamation point in it saying it is overdue and needs to be run. I have already run these payrolls. Why is this happening...it happens also in the liabilities screen. In the past it has taken care of itsself but I'd like to know WHY this happens. All my payrolls are run thru the payroll screen as are liabilities....Is this a quirk in QB?

I have Quickbooks Pro Plus 2024 Desktop. It promted me to do an update today, which I did and now it will not open. The circle comes up that says "Welcome! Opening Quickbooks Desktop", then it just disappears! I have updated Windows and rebooted. I have installed Quickbooks Tool Hub and ran the Quick Fix My Program, Quickbooks Program Diagnostic Tool, and Quickbooks Install Diagnostic Tool, restarting my computer after each. And still nothing!! Any help would be wonderful! Thank you
We are trying to set up our pastor's payroll and he gets a housing allowance per pay and he also has a housing exclusion of a greater amount. The housing allowance is money we are giving him in addition to his salary since we are not providing a parsonage. The housing exclusion is money that was voted on to be excluded from income to reduce his taxable salary. We are having difficulty figuring out what payroll items to use for each of these so that they show up correctly on his W2 at the end of the year. We feel like it makes sense from the descriptions to use Clergy housing (cash) for the allowance portion as this is in addition to his salary. However, we are unsure where to account for the portion of his salary that has been designated as the housing exclusion. Thank you.

how do you generate a bug ticket, I have QuickBooks accountant and recently are now doing lots of consulting and want to use features to create my quarterly tax filings so the person on the phone at QuickBooks said get soleentrapur but when I try to subscribe it says I already have it as part of my other subscription duh.. help
