Yesterday, I was trying to cancel my subscription before I got charged for this month's payment but I was not able to contact anyone to ask questions. Should I contact the Sales number, [removed] to speak to customer support?
I have sporadic occurrences of bank transactions that are duplicating on my Quickbooks register. It's both income and purchase related transactions.
I am a 'mom&pop" landlord, and we have an irrevocable trust. Can I use a single account to track income and expense for those two plus our personal finances?
I have just discovered the Projects function and thought that it would be perfect to track events or, in my case, productions (we're a nonprofit community theatre). In my searches I found this post from 2019 that seems to indicate this is NOT possible (though I'm not sure why). We have been using Classes to track all income and expenses related to each production, and that works OK. But the reporting is a huge hassle, requiring lots of Excel work to make the reports presentable. So I created a Project for a show with the Customer being the name of the theatre. Then I added a few historical transactions to it by selecting the appropriate project for each transaction. The Project Overview doesn't reflect any activity, however. The transactions only show up when I dig down into Transactions on the Project screen. Why are these transactions not captured for the Overview or any reports?
Some of my clients are not receiving my invoices, because they use Gmail, and the PDF attachments are being flagged as malicious. If I download a PDF copy of an invoice, and then attach it to an email in Gmail, Gmail says "Virus Detected!" and won't let me attach the file. I'd like to ask for some help fixing this issue. I've reported it to QuickBooks before with no solution.
I have an old, expired version of QB Desktop (Premier Contractor Edition 2020) that I have kept to use for my personal finances, since there's no way I can afford their monthly subscription. I wanted to create a new "company" file, but when I log in to the new file, it's asking me for my QB online login. Is there anyway to get around that? I'm aware that there is no service and no updates to my version, but that's ok with me for now.
I would like to also use or offer PayPal credit. Not just paypal on my invoices, is this possible
I’ve oriented the check properly and have endorsed it as the app directed. Front and back photos that are taken are clear and legible.
Hello, I wanted to know if Quickbooks can also help me with taxes and bookkeeping if I´m the owner of an LLC in USA but not being a US Resident. Thank you, Alejandro
I tried using Dancing Numbers import tool last August to upload multiple transactions with it's assigned GL coding in GTQ currency to a GTQ currency specified GL bank account. Instead of showing the conversion to the home currency (USD), it uploaded the GTQ amount as both the local and home currency, essentially 1:1. I've seen this in older posts as an issue with other customers. Has this been resolved? I have 1,000+ transactions from prior year to enter.
When I go to "invite to workforce" it shows the old email address and says employee has access. No option to re-invite.
Am I the only one who ever adjusts the hourly cost rate for different timesheets? For an example, QBO does not automatically adjust the hourly cost rate when the time is overtime, and so I have to go in & manually change the cost rate of the time, so that we have an accurate cost of the employee doing the job. We are a service based company, and so time is a huge factor in our cost of doing a job. And overtime plays a huge factor; it's 1.5 times the cost of regular time. However, as of yesterday, I can no longer go in & adjust the hourly cost rate on a per timesheet basis. I'm getting a message of "the time has been approved, unapprove the time to make adjustments". However, if I unapprove the time in QBT, it will no longer be in QBO. I spent 1.5 hours yesterday morning with QBO telling me it was a QBT issue, just for QBT to tell me it is a QBO problem. As it is a feature under projects -> time activity, I'm 99.9% sure it's a Q
Hi - I am very new to QB. I would like to create a budget using our yearly totals versus monthly. Is there a way to do this?
Hello, We have two company instances in QBO (Company A and B). In company A, I am able to record, for example, a $1,000.00 bulk deposit into our bank by matching and selecting all the customer invoices that comprise that $1,000.00 bulk deposit. In the bank general ledger, the deposit appears as a single line item of $1,000.00. In company B, however, the same situation as the above will appear as multiple customer deposits that comprise the $1,000.00 in the bank general ledger as opposed to a single "debit" to our bank balance. Is there a setting in QBO that allow company B's treatment of the customer deposit to mirror company A's deposit presentation (as a single). Please see the attached image as an example of what I want the genera ledger to look like.
WE USE AN ITEM "PERIODIC CHARGE" AT 0.00 TO LET THEM KNOW WE WILL CHARGE THEIR CREDIT CARD. I WOULD LIKE A REPORT THAT SHOWS THE WHOLE INVOICE TOTAL - OF JUST THE CUSTOMERS WITH THE PERIODIC CHARGE ITEM. I AM HAVING AN ISSUE SINCE THAT IS ZERO.
With the latest update how do I transfer cash from my Quickbooks checking account to my local business account?
