Hi, I voided paychecks before the cut off date of yesterday before 5 p.m. And sent the information to Intuit by putting in the password & clicking send all. I have both of those confirmations printed stating 6 voided paychecks. Also when I click Edit/Void Paycheck it says the net amount is $0.00, under "sent to Intuit" it says yes. & the "Memo" says; "VOID: Direct Deposit Payroll Service funds recovered" But when I checked the "View direct deposit status" this morning, it still shows that the checks are "modified" & the amount of the entire payroll is still there. I just want to make sure that the checks were indeed voided & no money was drafted from a clients account before submitting the correct payroll.

Hello. Been using Quickbooks Online for about 5 years and have never seen this issue before. In the past few days, some time entries have shown up as unbilled but they have already been billed and in some cases the invoice has already been paid. I contacted QB support online and that was pretty worthless. This hasn't occurred for all time entires for the month in question, just some of it. Any ideas?
Hi! Does anyone know how to unmask vendors EIN/SSN for the 1099 summary report? When I run the report all of the EIN/SSN are masked. I want to be able to see my own EIN as well as all of the vendors... Is it something in my settings that needs changed to allow for this?

I have an employee who already has healthcare insurance covered. The company wants to pay a cash sum to the employee via the payroll process to reimburse the employee for his costs. I tried adding it as a contribution amount but it did not seem to get added into the Net Pay total on the payslip, so did I do something wrong?
Payroll was created and printed and directly deposited. Then a company restore was done with an old file. How do i get this information updated. Taxes where also e filed
Hello everyone, I hope your new year is going well. I'm seeking guidance on handling return transactions with Forte credit card processor platform using QuickBooks Desktop 2020. Specifically, I'm having trouble recording the bounced transactions that are being netted against payments that have not bounced listed under the withdrawals on the bank statement. My client has received all payments before hiring me, however he did not use the settlement reports to balance properly. I have requested the proper reports. The original payment has been documented on the customer's account although it was returned. All clients have made secondary payments for the bounced transaction. In the make deposit window, you can see the bounced payment as well as the payment that actually cleared.Has anyone else encountered this issue with Forte? How do you handle return transactions in QuickBooks Desktop via credit card processor. I know this process can be complex. Any advice or best
Hello everyone! I need your help.I am Argentinean, I live and reside in Argentina, but I work remotely for an LLC in the United States. My employer is filling out the 1099 forms and I know that in my particular case I should give him the W-8BEN form since he pays me through an ACH transfer to my US bank account but I pay my taxes here in my country. Is this correct? Also he should fill out another form? I read somewhere that he should fill out the W-8BEN-E form. Thank you in advance for all your help. Agustin
Looking for the correct way to report a non-taxable worker's comp wage claim on the W-2. Wages were paid directly to the employee by the company, and later reimbursed by the WCC carrier. We initially used box 12 with letter code J (since it was reimbursed by a third party). Quickbooks Assisted Payroll cannot answer the question and says it is "not possible to talk to the tax team." More like "UN" assisted payroll! How have others handled this?

How much of a garbage company do you have to be???? So since I do not want to pay your greedy company to file my 1099's, you seriously take away the ability to print a 1096!!!! That pretty petty. Seriously, can someone tell me a single reason for not providing a printable 1096 other than to force me to pay more money!!!! Your mobile app is unusable for any type of invoice creation, your point and click is slower than previous desktop versions which you have may so expensive, you've pretty much forced your entire small business market to online, where you provide a below average software, non existent customer support, and a monopoly on the whole industry.
I understand this is an ongoing known issue and I need to know if it will be resolved. The setting in Account and Settings/Sales/Custom Transaction Numbers cannot be disabled. I have the WooCommerce Connector from OneSaas (Intuit) to sync orders from WooCommerce. There is a setting to assign a new invoice number to these sales using the existing numbering sequence in QBO. This feature will only work if you turn off Custom Transaction Numbers, which as mentioned cannot be done! I gave up on the invoice number integration and decided to use two unique series of invoice numbers, one for manual invoices and one for WooCommerce orders. The problem now is the invoice numbering sequence in QBO now defaults to the number from the last invoice that was entered. Following each WooCommerce order the numbering sequence changes and I have to close the invoice, go see what the correct invoice number should be, then manually change it to the correct number. I'm new to QBO and don't have a problem swi
I recently took over management of our QBO account and there were a handful of things from 2024 needing fixing. I believe 11 bank transactions were confirmed instead of matched to the corresponding entry. It looks like maybe this created a fake QB entry to match the bank transaction to, which left the actual QB entry used to print the check in limbo. So I had to unmatch the fake QB entries, then unreconcile them (change R to blank in the Bank Register) so I could find the actual QB entry in the "Find other matches" list. Now these 11 fake entries show up in the Reconciliation Discrepancy Report. I tried to just delete a fake entry and now that one shows up in the Reconciliation Discrepancy Report, getting me nowhere. There are also instances where I voided checks that were reconciled because they were printed in error and were not deposited. Then one other instance where the last person voided a reconciled check that did end up getting deposited later on and is matched. For t
Hello , I have some vendors missing from the 1099 prepare. I checked and vendors are active, and are setup for 1099 tracking, have more then the threshold in payment last year and paid from the correct account. I cannot find out why they are missing from the 1099 prepare. I have to manually add them but I have a lot of vendors and seeing a lot missing for some reason and can't figure out why that is . It is tedious for me to add them one by one .any suggestions ?
Trying to add a Hyperlink to the invoice email template for QB Desktop Enterprise but does not work. Anyone have work around?
Before I used to put a number after the customer name to make it different. Is that the right approach?
This is for the filing of 1099-NEC.
I need a report that shows the customer's name, billing address, billing city, billing state, billing zip code and total sales for a specific period. It would be nice if the customization in the Sales summary by customer would let you add the billing information. That would make the report ideal. I've seen some dialogue go back and forth in this area, but I have not seen a resolution to my satisfaction. The last posting, if I remember correctly, was dated September of 2020. Has QBO made any strides in this area? Please advise. Thank you.Camate60
I have not filed the W2, and need to add to item 14. How do I edit it when I have not filed it yet?
