A deposit that is showing as reconciled in the register is still showing up to be “matched” in the review screen. Should it be excluded or matched?
I need to use my 2020 windows 7 ultimate version for another month or so. I do building automation and setting up all the programs to run the buildings is first priority. after all that is stable I will transfer this over also. In the mean time I get a demand to update, it fails and gives me error code 13. I have to restore the computer back to an earlier date, then I get one more use before it locks me out again. I have rebuilt Quick-books and everything looks fine, except the lockout. I just need the update to stop until I get a grasp with the other software I have to have functioning to make a living. Any thoughts that will help me get through this?Thanks tons!
How to e-file W-2 forms with wages over 9,999,999.99? QuickBooks Enterprise will only allow us to print W-2's in batches because our total wages are over 9,999,999,99 and QuickBooks W-3 form does not support wage amounts over 9,999,999.99. I guess they don't know how to add an extra digit in the field. (940 Form printed ok) Can we e-file the W-2's in batches as QuickBooks directs to print paper copies in batches?
I keep getting the message " Something's not right. We're unable to complete your request at the moment, try again later" when opening the accounting center. I tried again later but still no luck I ran all the QB Tool hub diagnostics and still no luck please help!

I have QBDT 2024 for Mac and I'm using it as stand Alone..not online. I would like to modify the list of Payment Methods to include ACH payments. I'm not comfortable with connecting with my bank online. So is there any way that I can modify the Payment Method to ACH without paying QB a monthly charge?
I used to be able to create an invoice and add transactions to it throughout the month before sending it to the client. with this new invoice interface, if I create an invoice, I can't go back to it later to add additional linked transitions. they won't pop up unless I create a new invoice. this is really frustrating because I like to prepare my invoices throughout the month and not leave it all to do at once. i know that it's not an issue with the transactions being marked billable, because if I create a new invoice for the same client, they pop right up. this must be a glitch in the new update, if there's a way to fix this on my end please tell me! otherwise, QuickBooks please change it back so I can edit my invoices and add linked transactions over time!
Hello, How can i printout my W2 just for the state of Hawaii. I do payroll for California and Hawaii and would like to printout just Hawaii. There must be an easy way other then just clicking all my employees names that are in Hawaii. I have a large payroll.Thanks for you helpSlaly
I've had this problem persisting for a few days now. When I go to Prepare 1099s and agree to "Try It Out", Click "Confirm Info & Start Filing", then it starts "Drawing up your forms". When I click "View Results", It glitches and goes right back to the "Let's Review your Recipients & prepare your 1099s" original page. I've tried different browsers, cleared cache, memory, let the computer rest to think about what it has done, and it still doesn't work for me. HELP!
Starting some time in the last month or two, the export of data available at the "/app/exportdata" URL in Quickbooks Online is broken. The export appears to succeed but no longer includes a full history of transactions or other records, making it useless as a full export or backup of our data. I noticed this because the backup files being generated were significantly smaller in filesize than in the past, and I confirmed it by going to the beginning of the transaction journal and observing missing transactions. I contacted Quickbooks support about this several weeks ago and they opened case 15129174575 but have not provided any updates, and the export is still broken as of today. I thought I'd note this for anyone else relying on those exports a part of your data preservation/backup strategy, so you can consider making other arrangements.
Hello - I am trying to add paid date to Sales by Rep Detail Report. When I customize the report to add the paid date, it leaves that data blank in the report. Does anyone know how to get this data to show? Thanks,Katie

Hello QuickBooks Community, I'm facing a perplexing issue with my new QuickBooks account. Every test transaction I attempt through HDPhotohub integration is consistently being voided with the message "Voided by Intuit due to Risk Check", even though these are just small transactions. Interestingly, when I test paying a small invoice directly in the QuickBooks native app, it works fine. Despite reaching out to QuickBooks support through various channels, I've received different responses. I'm not a technical expert, but I've double-checked all settings, especially regarding the HDPhotohub integration. I am looking for simple step by step instructions how to export 1099NEC info into Excel so I can use the Tax1099 portal. I will enter each vendor by hand as today is the deadline for 2023 filing but for future tutorials and to be ready for next year, any assistance would be helpful. I've been troubleshooting bad formatting in the email QuickBooks sends when emailing an invoice. In Outlook the tables in the email are all outlined with red. It generally looks OK, but everything it outlined with red lines and looks unprofessional. If you view the same message in Outlook online, it looks fine. So I finally dug into the HTML code and realized around line 12 it refers to the td style and #fab color, which happens to be red. I think that is a malformed color or style, though. See attached for an example. Can anyone else confirm that your emails from QuickBooks Desktop are formatted with red tables?
I filed my 1099's on 1-13-25 with e-file through QB Online. I am wondering if there is any place to confirm that the State filings were in fact done. I says accepted under the status, but no indication if for IRS or State. Please help. Thanks!
After converting from Sage 50 to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2022, we have several erroneous entries in the undeposited funds account. These are old payment (from 2021) that have already been deposited and reconciled and need to be removed from appearing. How do we delete these entries so they no longer appear in the undeposited funds screen?
How do I set up my vendor payment term for when the bill is due the 25th of the following month? It keeps saying that it is due the 25th of this month when I choose that 25th option.
I'm looking for a template in word or excel that will enable me to enter the information for the corrected 1099-NEC and print directly onto the IRS paper forms so everything lines up properly. Does Quickbooks have such a template. If not, can you recommend somewhere else where I can do this? I am only trying to file one corrected 1099. Thanks!
I run a union electrical contracting business and our employees pay union dues of $50.00 per month. I need to set up 1 deduction to come out of their paychecks. I created a payroll item under deductions & contributions. The problem is, "calculated as" can only be set up as flat amount, % of gross or per hour worked. I need one charge of $50.00 each month. Right now, the only way to set it up was to do $50.00 per paycheck and then I have to remember to go in each week that I'm not paying dues to zero it out. Is there an easier way?
36 days. That's how long my payroll account has been on hold. Hours on the phone, always told 24-48 hours. Never get contacted. Emails asking for additional information go to a blank page or do not instruct me what is needed. All this - at the end of the year. I can't pay employees. My taxes are not being filed (which I pay for). Can't process W2s. Nightmare. It's truly remarkable to me that this is possible.PART 1 (the bad part). In early October there was a fraud attempt on my account. Thankfully, Quickbooks acted quickly and caught the actors before much damage was done.
