Employee does not pay any portion of their insurance premiums. The check was received in Sept 2023 but lost and not found until Jan 2024. Check has been deposited and will go through. What accounts and how would you enter the pending check? We are on accrual basis.
I have QB desktop, wanted to file and pay Wisconsin UI so I printed a Payroll Item Detail as usual, there are no wages under UI. Why would that happen? (we have one employee)
My S Corp pays my healthcare premiums. My CPA says this amount needs to be included in Box 1 of my W2. I don't receive a paycheck every month. Just 3-4 times a year. At the end of the year, is there any way my premium total for the year can be added to Box 1 of the W2? The help articles don't seem to help, and I can't understand the customer service rep on the phone. The chat help insists it goes in Box 14. My CPA doesn't agree. HELP! How do I simply correct my W2 at the end of the year? Box 1 only! Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to record a "sales" person involved in the generation of the invoice? We have some invoices that are sold as "sponsorships" and we pay a commission on those sales, so it would be nice to have a way to have the system track who the sales person was so we could sort a report by a sales field and save a little time. I've looked on the invoice screen and I don't see any sales field, and I haven't found anything in preferences.
I purchased the product years ago but have since retired from administrative duties. I would like to transfer administrative duties to someone else. How do I do that?
I have the solopreneur checking for my business and there have been charges made that were refunded or canceled and have been sitting in pending for over 2 months. There’s no way to dispute it and the original sellers have all canceled the charges on their end. I’m getting very frustrated and would like my money. Please help!!

I am at my wits end with Quickbooks and their "support." I signed up for Live Bookkeeping and was told this process would be easy.I had a bookkeeper assigned to my account but never got a chance to have that initial call to set everything up. Ive tried to schedule a call but I keep getting an error. Ive tried on multiple computers and on different browsers to no avail. Even had a support member "Bob" try to trouble shoot through screen sharing using "smart look" and he couldnt help. Ive spoken to over 6 different "support" agents all saying they are "escalating" and to expect a call and email. I have not received not one call or email. To make matters worse, "Teresa H," the bookkeeper that was assigned to my account has not responded to ANY of the messages I've sent her. I am so incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Quickbooks and their inability to provide the basic service they promised & I paid for. At this point, Ive even asked to cancel my live account but

Hi- How do you replace a stale payroll check from a prior year in quickbooks desktop?
Some of my 1099 forms are not summing correctly. When I click on the amount on the summary report, it has one number, but the detail lists more lines that are not factoring into the total despite the fact that they are showing on the list are all say 1099-NEC.
I overpaid a 1099 contractor, they paid me back and I put it towards their account. However, when filing a W9 it only shows the actual amount I paid and does not take into account they paid me back. I know that I entered the whole transaction wrong but have no clue how to go back and fix it correctly and have the W9 show the lesser amount.
For the past three days I keep getting this error. Any solution?
When I try closing books, an error message states that some products have a negative quantity, which stops the process. Some of the listed products had a negative starting value and some others had a negative quantity on hand (both quantities were negative in some cases). I brought them all to 0, as Rasa-LilaM wrote in this post: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/other-questions/error-message-about-quantities-when-closing-books/00/1434519. I did the same with deleted products that match the ones in question. The same error message pops up even after these adjustments. I have no idea what the issue might be. Any help would be very much appreciated ! Sorry if my wording is not impeccable, for I set up QBO in French. I suppose terms may differ from a language to another.
I am using qb desktop and have e filed federal payroll forms 941 for the 4th quarter 2023 and 2023 form 940 a few days ago. in quickbooks e file window it still indicates status "submitted to intuit". When can I expect the processing to be completed ?
Why are payroll taxes showing as "Accruing"?I ran payroll for 12/1/2024 to 12/31/2024 last month (December 2024).QB Online instead reflects payroll for 1/1/2024 to 1/31/2025 and the payroll taxes are showing as "Accruing" and due on 2/15/2025.Even the year end reports do not reflect the payroll for December 2024.Did not have this issue before.I'm on Cash basis. I am trying to use quickbooks to prepare and file my 1099s. It is giving me an error for a vendor who is a contractor that I need the company name. This is not required for a vendor, only their name. How do i get rid of this error. Thank you, Andrea
Up until yesterday I could email invoices from QB's. Today I am getting a message that says QB's is unable to send emails due to network connection failure. I have not changed anything. Any suggestions?
I don't understand why I was able to manually adjust the Box 1 and Box 16 amounts to add the S-Corp health insurance in the Desktop version of QuickBooks for the 20+ years that I used it. Now that I gave in and switched over to QuickBooks Online, it's not an option. Why not?
I can schedule a report to be emailed, but I can't find where I can modify (or delete) a scheduled report. Also, where can I find a list of scheduled Reports.I am running QuickBooks online Plus (which means I don't have access to workflows)
Is there a way to have a column directly in the register to tag a customer / project while in the credit card register without going to "edit" for that transaction? Nobody wants to spend the extra time with entering the transaction twice just to get it tagged to the correct customer or project. That was the original question, and seems that once again, its another item that people have been asking about since 2019 that still has no capability, yet we keep paying more for this software. QUICKBOOKS - PLEASE HELP ADD THIS FIELD
