We are a QB Online user and discovered yesterday that all of our scanned vendor receipts (100's of them, most of which are billable to a client/project) were gone. I spent almost 4 hours on the phone trying to figure this out and the ultimate resolution was to "re-scan them". I asked why they were gone and the answer I was given was that it was a "browser error" or "traffic issue". I asked if it was a traffic or browser issue why would the receipts that were in the "reviewed" section not show the ones from the past 4 months. The reply was "our terms of service state that we are not responsible for data loss"...As it so happens, the audit log showed that "system administrator" made a change right when the receipts disappeared. I also went in to generate a new invoice and low-and-behold, a new invoicing update had been applied corresponding to the same time. Is there no responsibility for maintaining our critical data??? Hi All,I've connected our bank to QB however, now all of our accounts are showing up in the list of accounts to link. We have 40+ accounts with our bank and QB is only showing 25 of our accounts. As a side note, I am not wanting all 40+ accounts linked to QB only need about half of them.

How do I link American Express At Work (credit card) to Quickbooks Online?
I want these transaction notes to show up on the AR Aging Detail report or any AR report for that matter. I want it on a report that can be exported, printed and or emailed. Not interested in copy/ paste or opening each individual transaction to see the notes. No, the memo is not a good option. I want a report. A report that I can give to anyone in the company and they can follow-up on past due invoices and see all the previous efforts noted.

Here's the story.Small consulting LLC receives an SBA Covid-19 EIDL for $113700. Entire amount is received into Biz account and $80K is moved into dedicated bank account and remainder is left in Biz account. During Covid-19 slowdowns 2020 to 2024 EIDL money used to pay LLC expenses. How should loan have been received into business QB? Long Term Liability or What?OK, out of the $80K that was deposited into the dedicated EIDL funds account the LLC took draws equal to the amount the business received as monthly revenue from client being serviced before Covid-19 shut down and the remaining $33,700.00 was used during the intervening years for other periods of Covid-19 related stoppage of business. I am trying to determine how to export a NACHA file from Quickbooks Desktop to upload to the bank for payments. It looks like I may need a 3rd party to create this file but want to confirm before going down that path.
I'm getting all the banks transactions nighlty including PENDING and it's a nightmare!!! I've been on support many times with QB and my bank and they both point the finger at the other saying it's not their fault. It is supposed to be set up so that only COMPLETED transactions get downloaded from the bank to QB which is the way it's always been. Now, for example, I stop and fill up for gas and I get 3 different transactions being downloaded instead of just the one completed one like it should be. And I have to go through all of them. My accounts are so far gone after only a few months there is no way I can reconcile them because it's just to much and I know I'm making mistakes when trying to fix their mess. I am at my wits end and can't continue to spend 10 hours a week trying to figure out ONE checkbook register (I've got 3 for my businesses) because I'm being bombarded with nonsense! HELP!! Is anyone else having this issue?
We are a non-profit looking to sell tickets to our annual fundraiser. I was able to create a multi-use payment link to embed in our website. Currently, you can only buy 1 ticket at a time this way. Is there a way to create a quantity option for 1 person to purchase multiple tickets at once?
I received two notices from the State that say they received payment but no withholding report. I've been with QB support for hours trying to print out a report to the State. The tech could not find a report or how to create it so I can prove to the state that a report was submitted with the payment. I asked for the next tier support and the tech said, "They will only show what I've already shown you". I asked for a supervisor and the reply was that they were swamped and couldn't help since they are non-technical. So, how do I print a withholding report that was filed?Thanks for your help.

I have a strange situation here. I am setting up a new file and cognizant that I may enter information incorrectly. Because of that, I have created "complete" backups of my account in Backup and Restore. Today, I created a backup at 10:30am. Around noon, I imported information which generated 500 products and 500 accounts. These were done incorrectly, unfortunately. No sweat, though, I'll just restore from my 10:30am backup. I ran restore and it completed successfully. Unfortunately, all 500 products and 500 accounts remain in my account. QBO Support tells me "that's just how it works" and information such as products and accounts won't be "removed" form a Restore. That sounds completely wrong based on any reasonable understanding of how a Restore would work (take a snapshot of everything, overwrite everything with that snapshot). Am I being misinformed?
We just got an LPL account last month. Right out of the gate I was able to connect our new account to QBO. However a week or so later LPL supposedly did some update to their platform/url and my account quit syncing. I tried to disconnect and reconnect however I keep getting a 103 error message "That didn't work. Try signing in again." So I try again and now get a 108 message "The bank needs you to do something at their site. Take care of that and then try again." There is nothing to "take care of" on the site. This has been going on for over a month. Please advise.

I'm trying to create a report that shows the "Created User" as the row, the "Date" as the column, and the sum of created transactions as the values. I've tried this and about 1808123 other combinations of Rows/Columns and I never get anything to show up in "Values". In Excel, this is pretty easy. What am I misunderstanding in QBO? I can just never get "Values" to show anything.
I am looking for recommendations for the best/fastest laptop to run multiple versions of Accountant Desktop. My last 2 laptops have been Lenovo and while they have been purchased with the max RAM, I still have not had the experience I have been looking for. I tried a Mac, love it as a laptop but not for QuickBooks. I am a multi-tasker and have several programs open at all times during the day. Typically 3 versions of QuickBooks, multiple spreadsheets, adobe files, web browsers etc.
We run QBE and I have a sales person who travels a fair bit and we are looking for a more effective way to enter sales orders. That is primarily what he needs to do. Yes, a laptop, VPN and QBE on the laptop taking forever to load is the worst case scenario, but is there not a better way? An app of some sort that allows some basic functions. From what I can see, everything is still driven around QBO which maybe someday will support the other manufacturing functions we need, but does not work for us now. Any ideas?
