I want to create a report that includes check #, check date, $ amt paid and the "name to print on checks" category in the vendor file. Is this possible? My issue is finding the "name to print on checks" info for the report. I'm unable to use the Vendor Name because I set my vendors up = last name, first name and the checks are cut = first name, last name. Am I able to choose the "name to print on checks"? Help!
The Paypal feed has always been weird - when you go to edit it everything shows "unknown" - but that's how it has always been and it's always worked until now.

Is there anyway to deduct the estimated value of the time you dedicated to writing, copyrighting and publishing a book for sale and to generate revenue for an LLC?Talking about a BOOK here, not a work of fiction but a work that entailed hours and hours of research and work to produce and for which the profits/sale proceeds went directly to an LLC with an EIN.Any thoughts, help, guidance would be appreciated. This seems so silly these days that this functionality isn't built-in, but anyone have recommendations for timesheet app that will allow our workers to enter their time via Internet? I don't want to have to spend hours entering timesheets that Employees have already entered in a different platform like Excel - just seems like a waste of time. I see several 3rd part apps with varying costs but looking for some recommendations on the best app. In all honesty, all I need is a worker to enter their time spent and with what customer via a web page. Seems simple enough, no? Thanks for reading and appreciate your recommendations in advance!
Hi,Spent a lot of time this year (and proceeding years) writing a book that is published and being marketed on Amazon. I know that I can deduct the physical expenses (computer, paper, pens) as well as office space and travel related items, but what else?I invested a lot of time in this project and published the finished copyrighted work which could have possibly been devoted to working and earning money doing other tasks or revenue/income generating items. Can't say the book venture resulted in a profitable and rewarding experience, I don't have the promotional opportunity that FOX news celebs have available, but I did my best with networking and requesting reviews. The main expenditure I had for this endeavor was time for research and writing. It is not a work of fiction but of facts, scientific views and explanations of physical, economic and technological issues.Unlike a lot of fast-food hamburgers it has a lot of meat compared to the bread...probably why it did not sell better. LOL

Hello, Greetings! We are about to finish our development in QBO sandbox, and we are exploring this early to switch to production. However, we are confused how to go about the tasks required to unlock our production credentials. Our app is for internal use, mainly pushing data to QBO vi API for invoicing purposes only, question, are we really required to indicate the following? * Host domain* Launch URL* Disconnect URL.. given that we use bash scripts to push data to QBO. Can I transfer information from Self Employed to Quickbooks Online?
I would like to create a budget vs. actual report that gives the actuals for a date range (for instance, last month to date), vs. the budget totals for the ENTIRE fiscal year. For instance, our fiscal year is Aug - July. I want to hand a department lead a budget vs. actual report that shows the department's expenses through January 31st (six months), and compare that to the entire fiscal year's budget totals. When I select a date range of 08/01/2020 - 01/31/2021, the report only includes the budgeted amounts from Aug - Jan, but I want to compare to the entire year to show how much money is left to spend in their entire fiscal year budget. For instance, if their budget is split evenly across each month and they are have a $1,000 budget and they spent $700 through Jan, I want the report to show that they have $300 left, not that they have overspent by $200. I do not want to do a report that includes the entire year, because I don't want to include transactions from 2/1/2021 unt
I mistakenly set the credit card import start date too early and I need to change the date. I've tried updating the import date as well as deleting the credit card all together and re-connecting, but every time the import data starts with the original August date that I selected. What am I missing?
Currently, there is a 2-3 delay in the payments being deposited into my bank account. I'd like for it to be instant.

So previously, I used Melio to make payments to vendors. With the termination of that service, I signed up for the payment service through Quickbooks. Seemed like it was a smooth transition, but not so much. After making 4 payments, I experienced an issue with schedule additional payments. Error indicated to contact customer service. Make a long story short, I called multiple times, and customer service could not identify the issue. Was advised to wait 48 hours, was advised that they will reach out to Microsoft to troubleshoot. Now after 7 days, I got a customer service rep (Nathaniel) that admitted that there is an issue with my business account that is prohibiting me from making any payments. When questioned about what is the issue, the customer service rep indicated that he cannot divulge that information. The only response was that I have to wait and try again. Our organization has a policy whereby an employee can donate hours to another employee who is in need of hours for some situation ... like a serious illness/injury to a dependent or the employee, the marriage of the employee for preparation / extended honeymoon, etc. Curious how some of you might be handline the transfer of hours from one employee to another? Removing hours from one employee to another is easy, but looking for suggestions on how to add in the donated hours to the receiving employee without messing up any future accruals or grant of hours. Please share some ideas / processes with us on how you handle this. Thanks in advance.
