I don't need any of the QuickBooks team to submit or reply to my post with how to set up a Quickbooks Payroll sick pay because we're tired of this issue of sick pay not accumulating right and passing the limits, we keep posting about the sick pay is not accumulating. Please see other posts about that, people trying to get this problem fixed, and no one from the support is actually taken an action by submitting this to the right department, they need to fix the programming
QuickBooks customer service was not helpful the last time.
I'm thinking about separating subcontractors from other vendors to clean thing up a bit. Pros and cons?
There is a not specified Item on the report. I need to find out what is in there. When i click on it it does not take me to the charges that make up the total that is on the report. It loops me back to the report center.
I went to run payroll today, as I do every Tuesday, and I came across this notification "employee profiles need your attention before you can pay them:" And it lists both of my employees. When I click on an employee to investigate, I see that the "Tax Withholding" section needs attention via the orange exclamation point. They have already set themselves up when I hired them months ago and I was able to pay them without issue until this week. Why is it suddenly asking me to enter tax withholding? Also, suddenly the "employee self-set up" tick box is greyed out for one employee, and doesn't appear for another employee. Is the system down or experiencing issues right now?
Hi,I'm having a brain freeze and can't quite remember how to do this. I know it's simple. When I download our bank registry and I come across a credit card payment I place the payment into the credit card account. But when I'm in the credit card registry and am inputing the same payment - the bank shows it as a charge and the credit card registry shows it as a payment - thus canceling each other out. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!
Every since yesterday afternoon I have not been able to edit any products or services. I noticed that the option to chose taxable /non-taxable is also gone. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO SEND FEED BACK!!! I have cleared cache and cookies and restarted my computer and nothing is working. Please just fix the problem along with all the other issues that the new invoicing has created.

I ran my 1099 Detail report. I have 3 vendors that I paid airfare from the business and they each paid me back. I know this is messy, but can you help me fix it? Vendor #1(M) - I entered her expense as a bill and paid it with a check referencing the Job. She reimbursed me via Zelle, which went to my personal bank account. I left that reimbursement in my personal bank account. I entered the credit in QB as a Journal Entry (debit Petty Cash/credit Customer COGS referencing the Job). Vendor #2(T) - paid her via iWallet from my personal account. I entered the expense in QB as a Journal Entry (debit Owner Contribution/credit Customer COGS referencing the Job). She reimbursed me via Apple Wallet to my personal account, and I transfered that reimbursement to my business account. I entered the credit in QB as a Journal Entry (debit business bank account/credit Customer COGS referencing the Job). Vendor #3(L) - I enter
They way our accounts were set up (years ago before me), is that sale items are considered service. So when we add them to an invoice, we also have to subtract the cogs and the inventory. I would like to change them to inventory items so we only have to enter one line item for the sale instead of 3 line items. Can I set them up to do this? And - How will this effect past invoices? Right now our inventory is set up backwards ( I think this was to offset the cogs) i.e.1. Sale of item = 42. COGS item= (2)3. Item inventory= 2
Is it possible to expand a P&L report to not just show the subaccounts but each transaction under each account/subaccount?
Employee can't see his paystubs on workforce, he could before. I think the problem started after an update. He has 2 employers on his account. His error message reads "We can't get your info" Your employer isn't connected QuickBooks Payroll. Contact them to access your paycheck. I am his employer and he isn't set up any differently than others.
I have a vendor credit that I wish to apply to a vendor's bill, and then pay that bill with the credit applied via ACH, using QuickBooks Online Billpay. I do not see an affordance that allows me to perform this action.
We have QuickBooks Premier Plus Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2024. We are currently having issues sending emails using the New Outlook desktop client. We we're sending emails perfectly with the old outlook. How can I start sending emails from the new Outlook? It's very frustrating when QuickBooks just freezes up after I click the email button! Thank you for any help and shared wisdom.
i want to compile a report of time off requests that were submitted in a timely manner so i want to compare submitted date to date requested
If I open a bill or check from the Vendor Center it auto-fills the bill or check with the highlighted vendor. Is it possible to stop this from happening? I know it's a minor thing but it can be quite annoying.
I'm trying to print a report that includes the customer company name. I've tried adding it to the "other 1" field but it doesn't populate when I include the column in the customize report. I can get the company name in the Customer Contact list but it only shows partial. Anyone know how to get the report for ALL customer?
Hi. QuickBooks won't allow me to set my Unemployment Insurance rate below 0.3%. I received an official notice that it'll be 0.2% in 2025. Any suggestions? Thanks! Jeff
Since the last update, we know have customers that are being able to accept an estimate through quickbooks. We want to turn that option off as we don't get notified that a customer has approved.
I'm trying to update the Employees/Get Payroll Updates. I keep getting the message: Error 15276 One of the files being updated was being used and could not be replaced so the payroll update did not complete successfully.I tried all the suggestions except reloading Quickbooks, which I kind of think won't work because I have a back quickbooks, same version, on my home computer and get the same message. I rebuilt, verified, etc. Did the Quickfix,I also went to Quickbooks update and saw I had the same error message for New Features. I reset the update and downloaded, then got the same message. Frustrated!!!I'm using Enterprise 23 Desktop. I tried to use the "upgrade Quickbooks", but I get a message (on both computers) that I don't have enough storage which is baloney, over half my disk is empty.
The damage was to common area items, nothing was a capital asset. We intend to replace what was damaged. How to post the loss?
I need to be able to run a report for accounts payable by class to ensure the bills are being paid from the correct bank account. We are using QuickBooks online Advanced - any suggestions? Thank you
Quite by accident, I discovered there IS a report in Employees/Payroll that would show hours by various categories ... OT, Holiday, Regular, etc. The Payroll Detail Review. However, I am currently stumped on how to filter the report to show only the types of pay items I would like to see. I am attaching a file with a couple of the categories highlighted and circled. To be clear, I don't want to see these two only for employees, but several of the items. The problem is that I don't know what these are called in the filtering options. Can someone help me out to let me know what I should filter on so that I can select the ones I want to be included in a report? I'm assuming that I will be able to filter on a field to isolate these. Thanks in advance for your help.
