QuickBooks Q&A

I am using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2017. How do I set up a line of credit. We will be transferring money from a line of credit into our bank account to be paid out as needed. I have searched online for this answer but can only find how to set this up using the online version of quickbooks which does not help me.
Are we required to use the downloadable Quickbooks customer authorization form when storing credit cards on Quickbook Desktop; or are we allowed to edit it/use our own, one which is more suitable to our company's needs so long as the customer signs & dates it and we do not remove the portion at the top giving us permission to store it?
We want to add hyperlinks to the body of our email that goes out with the attached Invoice from QB Premier Desktop. We have tried adding links such as our company website, a Link for Google reviews etc., but the links always show up as plain text, and they are not clickable. We have went to "Company Preferences"--"Send Forms"--"My Preferences" and have made sure the "Use Plain Text" is unselected. I would think in todays day and age, we should be able to add our companies website at the bottom of the email body for our customers to easily click the link.
Hey all, anyone can confirm this on their Quickbooks desktop so I know it's not just me.I have email preference as webmail on Quickbooks. Sending forms, invoices out works fine. If I go to Vendor or Customer information and click on their email address, I get an error "Your email cannot be sent because Quickbooks does not support the email program you are using". If I switch my default QB email preference to Outlook, it works fine, an Outlook email compose window pops up with the vendor email address as the recipient. Tried on multiple computers with same issue.
Quise enviar un invoice por correo y lo puse como ya pagado como hago para revertirlo, ya que el cliente dise que ya aparece pagado. Ayuda porfavor
My transactions from Square are showing as revenue, but the only thing that shows in the Sales mini-report on the dashboard, or the Sales tab are the invoices that I've sent. Do I need to reclassify? Do I have a false definition of "sales"?

The QuickBooks Cash account monthly statement has not been calculating or paying out interest for the past two statement cycles. As outlined in the deposit account agreement, interest should be deposited at the end of each monthly cycle based on average daily balance. Interest and general information on my monthly statements under the interest section are totally blank. I have been unable to work this out with QuickBooks support. The support agents seem to not know much about the QuickBooks Cash account and have been of no help. I have also tried contacting Green Dot Bank and haven't been able to get through. I've spent hours on chat and in phone calls trying to get this resolved. Is there a way to escalate this problem to the correct department or group at QuickBooks? This is something I need to get resolved as I am now owed two months of interest. I feel like this is a very serious bug if it is happening with other users.
Hello, I haven't posted anything here before, so please let me know if my format here is incorrect. We currently have QBO set up so bank transactions import to the "for review" tab. Most of the time, these transactions are superfluous, since we usually put in transactions whenever we get receipts. We've found, however, that if you try and delete a transaction that was imported from a bank, it will "respawn" in the "for review" tab, and will stay there no matter how many times you exclude it. We recently had a transaction reappear that we had dismissed in February 2023, and my boss is sick of seeing it. How can I ensure that transactions don't reappear when I exclude them? Thank you so much for your help.
I want to mark a transaction as a 'transfer' from my LOC to another bank account. Typically, this means setting up a bank account to show what account it transferred from. However, I am not finding anything that looks like it correctly labels the account that way. How should I do this in QB? Thanks!
We part paid the vendor and now I want to match the payment to the bill. I go match and the bills come up including the one i want to match this payment to but the tabs where I normally punch in the amount do not allow me to type anything in. It is just greyed out which is weird. I have done this countless times by the way and somehow this is weird. Please help me.
I will like to refund
I have been using QuickBooks SE for several years now, and have always toggled the Credit Card payment option to off. However I just noticed a 10% CC transaction fees tethered to 2 recent payments by the same customer using their credit card. How were they able to circumvent this? what can I do to protect myself from an option that is disabled yet somehow not? Was there a software update to QSBE or is it a bug that I happened into? Do I need to check with the customer every time how they are going to pay and preemptively add the credit card fee? TIA, [Removed][Removed]
Dear All, I am using QB Premier Desktop 2018. Is there any report which shows payment (check) numbers and corresponding invoice numbers, as follows. Payment Invoice282123 812343282123 812567212313 821456
I need to start working on 1099's but I have huncreds of vendors. How do I sort the list so that only the ones active for this year appear?
How is everyone handling factoring in Overhead expenses into their project profitability? There doesn't seem to be a way to see an overhead analysis in relation to project estimates, etc.
Hi!Is anyone else having trouble uploading a new logo? It just says processing but never loads. I've tried incognito mode and 3 different browsers.
Hi, I have been emailing back-and-forth with an into it representative for months trying to ensure that my 1099 contractors only have access to extend invoices and do not have access to any revenue information. I was assured that they do not, but this is incorrect. my six contractors have been able to see our monthly revenues each time they log into QuickBooks online . I’ve escalated this up the chain of commands at QuickBooks and I’m being told that there is nothing they can do. I cannot imagine that I’m the only small business owner that would be surprised to know that there is no way to prevent your contractors from seeing your monthly revenues when you want them to be able to do is extend invoices Does anyone have any other ideas? It’s important to know that I was unaware that they were able to see this information so I have to believe there are a lot of other small business owners out there whose private information is being shared without their knowledge..
So I got the notice that the 2019 desktop version for mac was being discontinued and I had to upgrade. I called the support line and if I want to upgrade to the new desktop it would cost me $349. I do NOT want to pay that much. I feel this is their way of squeezing more money out of their customers. I also had the option of moving to the online version for $25 a month. This would mean I'd have to learn that version since it's quite different from the desktop. I also use QB's online payroll core. I just anticipate a lot of issues as any change with QB's is always a disaster. Anybody else in my position and what are you going to do?? How do you feel about this upgrade sprung on us leaving us no choice but to have to upgrade? Please share your thoughts. Thank you!
I have two needs: 1: I need to update customer information by importing a csv. I want to update data for multiple people. 3: As part of that I really need to update data in a custom field I've created on the Customer object. I see no option for my custom field in the mapping. What to do?
