QuickBooks Q&A

I've done my payroll today exactly like I did on the 23rd of last month.Payslips were sent but don't appear to have been received. The payroll history shows the figures correctly for this month.I can see and open the breakdown correctly.HMRC gateway confirmation has been received by email and was confirmed in QBO as received, FPS accepted. There are no entries in my account to reconcile and I can't find an entry anywhere in QBO for this payday. I have journal entries for each employee for April but nothing for May.Does it take some time to be either updated or accepted somehow before they show.

How do I pay an employee wages in part bank transfer and part cash please. I know how to pay a whole payment in cash or bank transfer but not both.
Is there an issue with the live chat as never puts me through to anybody and have been waiting for 3 hours?? Had the same problem yesterday
With my current finance system, every time I post a transaction the system allocates it a transaction number which I note on the hard copy supporting documentation which I then file in transaction number order. This gives an easy reference system for both myself and the auditors to trace the documents. I cannot see that quickbooks has such a feature so how do other people reference to hard copies? I know in an ideal world we would scan and attach everything but we aren't there yet and won't be at the time we have to start up with quickbooks. I'm hoping someone else out there is still working with paper.
Hello, I would like to use custom made tax invoice/ invoice forms. Then, I would like to know if I use custom continuous paper forms to print through QuickBooks Online, can they be used together? Is there any special setting required to print out that matches the form?
i have bank of scotland set upquickbooks online.i cannot access any transaction older than january 1st 2023?is it possible to access last year's transactions?
QB Desktop is being discontinued and I am trying to set up QB online. We use stock control and never need to do stock takes (rare checks and adjustments) We buy raw plastic and make products from it and some we assemble together.Desktop receives the purchased stock parts, reduces stock part when we build stock assembly and increases stock assembly. Then reduces stock assembly when we deliver and invoice.Stock part 1 (Purchase ordered from supplier & received with bill)Stock Part 2 (Purchase ordered from supplier & received with bill)Stock Assembly 1 (we build assembly from Stock part 1)Stock Assembly 2 (We build assembly from Stock part 2)Stock Assembly 1+2 (We build assemble these together)Invoice Stock Assembly 1+2 How do I do this in QB Online is this all done with bundle?
Can obnoxious customers that pay with credit cards revers the payment after a month?
I can only see bills
We've been a QBDT user for many years. When MTD forced our hand several years ago we opened a QBO account and use it for our payroll needs. We couldn't get on with the rest of it and continue with QBDT to this day including filing VAT.Yes, we've paid two monthly subscription for the benefit for several years! Now QBDT is to be shelved we are forced to move!Having used the Movemybooks link provided and uploaded the file to that system, it now needs a clear QBO account to download the data to!Problem is that our QBO account has data added by us 2019-2020 while "playing". We cannot simply delete the account due to using "payroll" every week. We did consider opening a new account prefixed with a 1 or 2 in the company name but is there another way that anybody can advise.many thanks, Rob
When I create Customer Statements, I want to show the "true status" of their account. If they owe me money, I want to show the net amount that they owe me. If they have overpaid, I want to let them know that too. With Quickbooks Online I can't seem to show open credits or negative balances. Are there settings to allow that?
Went to send an invoice and customers etc have all gone?
Is it possible to set up a recurring mapping for importing invoices that have been exported from third party software to an Excel file? I need to import the Excel file on a daily basis, but don't want to have go through setting up the mapping each time.
I received the following email. But I'm not a Quickbooks user. I do use Mint. What, if anything, does it mean? Could it be legitimate for some other reason I'm not aware of? Register for receipt forwarding Your receipt wasn’t received because it was sent from an email that’s not registered for receipt forwarding. Make sure you’re sending receipts from the email you used to create your QuickBooks account. To find out which email is registered, or to check if receipt forwarding is set up, sign in.
