HiSo my broker normally send me an invoice which include GST for my shipment. How do I entered it in quick book online? For example : I tried to manual adjustment the GST amount of the expense but then it applies the 5% which then make the Total amount incorrectly. Problem is this not always match to particular percentage so I can't create another Tax group. What should i do? Thank you

I recently took over an accounting position, and the standard practice at the company has been to apply credits for customers' overpayments against their oldest open invoice. Because they would only notify the customer after applying the credit, a customer has ended up consistently overpaying because they are not paying attention to the emails from us about their available credits. To rectify this I have been trying to go back and apply the payments according to their direction, and leave any remaining credits open until they direct me how to use them. Because these credits had already been used, some of them have been transferred between jobs using general journal entries in the Account for Credit Transfer clearing account. The customer wants to know where these available credits came from. Because they were all washed through the clearing account I can't see what payment or credit they originally came from. i have contracat with company i am working for and the payment is include the all invoice bill to customers and reimbered mileage and expenses which is my own money and should be exclude from buniess income , that the payment is going to my buniess account. how can i recrod reimberesd mileages and expenses in quickbooks which is paid to me with invoices in my buness account?
Emailed stating the investigation is solved, if further issues please call. Nothing changed at all, called and spoke for over an hour combing through details. Nothing worked. Then was told it would take 24 hours. I said that doesnt sound right or else you would send the email saying ti was solved after 24 hours or include in the email to wait 24 hours. I was told I would get a call back today at the 24 hour mark and received nothing and nothing changed. I just want to (for some reason despite bad service) sign up and pay for payroll services....
I recently started using the receipts function in QuickBooks Online to photograph and review receipts to enter them into the correct expense category. I've noticed a small problem with this process though. Upon assigning the expense, it asks me for a Bank/Credit account. If I use an accrued liability account here, for example, I haven't paid the expense yet but am planning to later, some strange behaviour begins. Initially, the liability and expense are appropriately updated, but if I then subsequently edit the expense to update a date, fix an amount or tax association, it requires me to enter a Payment Account at which point the original accrual / liability account entry is lost. Is there another way I should be approaching this transaction instead when using the receipts function?
I use QB Online. I want to enter our furniture purchase in 2022 as fixed asset but I don't see a Fixed Asset Account. When I go to Chart of Accounts to create one, Fixed Asset doesn't show in the drop down menu. The instruction says in the absence of Fixed Asset, I should select Other Asset. That doesn't show up either. Can anyone help please?
I developed a Quickbooks Desktop Application. When I run this application, ideally I should see Quickbooks Application With No Certificate Screen which includes the application name so that I can allow the access (I used other's image to show dialog box) like belowI don't have clear steps how to get the dialog box like above. When I run my application, I get this error messageDescription: A modal dialog box is showing in the QuickBooks user interface. Your application cannot access QuickBooks until the user dismisses the dialog box. When I open quickbooks and could not see a screen like above. Where can i find this dialog box? I tried to run quickbooks as administrator and seems not help. Thanks in advance

We have been using Quickbooks for over 10 years and up until recently have never had any issues with the software or support, however over the past couple of months the service from your company is not acceptable. A couple of months back we had issues connecting to our company file. I was told by the support person that our file was too large and we needed to purchase additional space. We use QB Desktop, and our file has pretty much remained at a consistent size for at least the past 5 years without any size issues. Nevertheless we had no choice and no solution was offered to rectify the problem, hence we purchased additional space for $1200 US! I thought this would solve any further issues but now we have run into a problem with file corruption? After speaking with a support person regarding a error window which was popping up on one screen, and not the other users, I was told the company file has been corrupted? Three employees were overpaid on a payroll paid by direct deposit. Instead of adjusting it on their next pay, the employees e-transferred the net pay difference back to the client. How do I record this in QBO so it reflects on their T4s?
