I updated all employees' individual cost rates in their accounts, but the time activity reports are not updating with the new rate. How can I fix this?
I have issues every payroll with 1 or 2 employees who need to add more descriptions on their time sheets. All of the employees but 1 are Salary/Exempt employees. Is it possible to handle this:1. One potential solution is to update the approved Time hours to Payroll and process the payroll for everyone, excluding the unapproved hours for the 1 or 2 employees with incomplete time sheets. This would result in the affected employee receiving 80 hrs. on his paycheck regardless.2. Or is it possible to approve all employees with that employee but enable him to go in and edit the last payroll and then update the previous payroll again with only his time checked? I aim to run payroll earlier in the day instead of up to the last minute. Thank you, RK
I'm creating time activities tied to services with hourly rates and toggling Billable. Last month, it worked where when I created Invoices and pulled in the billable time and it was all copacetic. Now, I go to Invoices and the category/service is wrong, it says something else and reads $0. So, two things: Billable time is resetting to a default category or serviceBillable time is showing up as $0Rate isn't showing up in Invoice or Billable Income Thoughts? Seems like a glitch. I just have to take the extra time and add back in the rate to the Invoice, but I'd like it to be as automated and smooth as possible. If I were sending Recurring Invoices, I would have to cancel them since the rate isn't working at present. Thanks, community! Any help appreciated. ~SB
I have (2) projects listed under a customer that both show up on QB time, even tho one is 'completed'. I use QB Online Plus, and Plus tracks customers (not projects), so the customer would have to be inactive to not show up? There is not the option to just track active projects (minus the customers) in QB time using Plus unless you have the Elite package? However, if I need to make a project inactive in Elite, will it A) do so without impacting the customer B) not show up in the QB time drop down? Thanks!
Looking for a report that compares scheduled time in & time out with actual time clocked in and out, not just scheduled hours vs hours logged in QB Time. Even the option to customize a report would be great thanks!
Hello, We've had several employees report that the notes they enter into the Time Clock are being altered or not recorded at all. Originally, We thought it was a browser issue, so tried the usual: different browser, private tab, clearing cookies and site data. The issue persists.
Hello,When I went to clock in this morning, my QB Time app on the phone said I was already clocked in! I checked the Time Entries, and the time entry started at 12am from the QB Time web portal! I was not even awake then, nor have I ever used QB on my personal computer, so it is clearly some kind of error.Should I be concerned? Has anyone else had this happen? Is there something I should do to ensure this mistake doesn't reoccur? Thank you,CM
I'm new to a small business using Intuit Quickbooks for Scheduling shifts for their workers. Employees are putting in days they are not available (using the app) but I've found that they are still being scheduled by our coordinator (online) because it's still possible in the system. Is there something we don't have set up correctly? Why wouldn't it block that employee from being put on the schedule?

When going to QB Time, I now have to select "Go to classic QuickBooks Time" to reach the version I have come to rely on. Does this mean the classic version is being phased out eventually? If so, when?
Hi, I would like my employees to help me keep track of the disposable items and material they use on a job, to make it easier for me to keep an eye on our stock as well as on the costs for each project. Once I schedule employees, can QBT be configured to require approval for OT before it shows up on the time sheet?
I purchase business recently and I am having issues changing the ownership of the QuickBooks into my name. The previous owner was not very computer savvy and had a previous employee setup the OG QuickBooks account and they named them selves the owner of the account. They are no longer with the company. What can I do?? I’ve spent several hours on the phone and submitted 2 tickets.

I'm using QBO and not all my customers have exported to Time Sheets. How do I export all customers to Time Sheets?
I am a sole proprietor using Quickbooks Time to track my time by client. I have no need for two step authorization in my Quickbooks time. There is no risk whatsoever. Yet every time I try to access Quickbooks time, it sends a code to my email address. It doesn't matter if I clocked in five minutes ago and now I want to clock out, I have to sign in all over again, which includes going to my email to get a code. Sometimes, like just now, it then sends another code to my phone. So then I have to type that code in as well. It is absolutely infuriating, unnecessary and I really want to turn this off. I have even contacted Quickbooks support by phone, and that person was not help at all. I have followed the instructions that say to log into your Insuit account and turn off two step authorization. That has no effect. If anyone can help me with this, I would be very grateful. Thank you!
Everyone is clocked out. I have a manager trying to approve their staff's time and getting the following message, "still clocked in for the pay period". Since that is not true, does someone know how to fix it?Thanks
Hello, I find time activities data under "Reports" and "Time" are different. I can see data under "Time" is up-to-data, while data under "Reports" is up to March 9th only. This also applies to the time-activities data pulled through the API.

I've assigned an employee Administrator status in QB Time (TSheets) so that he can create jobs and synch with QB Online, but every time he logs off and logs back in again, he is not an Administrator anymore. Am I missing a step? How do I get the Administrator status to hold on his profile?

We have created some employee's accounts under vendor. and they are filling their timesheets as a vendor. Now, we need to remove vendor and add it under employee. As of now, we tried removing the email id, but it is giving us error that email is already linked to vendor account. So, we cannot create another timesheet account as an employee.At the initial we linked email to vendor account, so we cannot use same email for the employee account even if the vendor account is inactive
I have only recently started a new job and this is the first time I have worked with QuickBooks for TimeSheet entries. In the last couple of weeks, I have found that when our staff are entering in a change of job site on their phone app, these entries are not appearing in the Time Entries in our app on the computer. Does anyone know how to rectify this?
