My client seems didn't do any bank reconciliation from last year 2023. Now I corrected January 2023 opening balance without reconciling the 2023. How can I eliminate all these 2023 entries now to perform 2024 reconciliation. Please help me with better solution. I have read something about off period clearing of transactions. But I don't think it will work for me.

The only way I can determine which estimate is which is by the amount and date. I need a description or product name.
Entering everything manually is going to be a hassle and there are going to be mistakes made. Extremely disappointed that this change was made and I have to figure this out now
Need some clarification on how to properly record home office expenses in QBO, here's some initial info: - Business is Multi-member LLC (2 partners) started in 2023- Home office expenses are paid by one partner using their personal accounts- I've read a lot of different articles, forums, etc. and one of them said to do a "split" expense showing 2 lines: A debit to "home office expense" with the amount spent (calculated as a percentage of home office use) and a credit to "partner contribution" for the same amount. This is how I've recorded all home office expenses for 2023.- No reimbursements were made to the partner, the amounts simply remained in the "partner contribution" equity account However, now that I'm getting ready to file taxes for last year I notice that all the home office expenses are showing on the P&L but I also know that Home office expenses can be (should be?) deducted on the individual partner's personal returns. So it seems like with this setup I'd be d
I sell many items on Shopify that are available in multiple quantities. For example. 100g of 'sauce' is kept in inventory, and I offer 1g, 2g, and 3g variants each with their own SKU. All inventory for these items is tediously kept with manual entry right now. I know no other way. I am trying to use quickbooks to record sales data including COGS. My problem is, when I use the quickbooks connect app, it will not record COGS on items that are "non-inventory". If I make these multiple variant made to order products "inventoried" in QB, I'm told the app will zero out my Shopify stock levels so these items would appear out of stock if I didn't input a value, and if I did, it wouldn't be accurate. So I have no way of recording the COGS in quickbooks for these items. I'm lost as to what I can do. I thought about using one SKU and a quantity discounts app for these items, but that would double up the cost of the jar that is included in
I reported it, the icons showed up this morning, now they are gone again. I’ve had this happen to me before. Not sure why they keep disappearing.
I converted from Desktop where I used classes. I want to continue in Quickbooks online. However the option doesn't show up in settings.
Hi I'm currently setting up QB online as desktop is ceasing. I allocate a job number for every order and all related costings and invoices are posted against the relevant job.I can then look at each job, or a summary, to identify profitability. When I switch to QB Online, will all these jobs be automatically be identified as 'Projects' (the new name for 'Jobs')? Or do I lose this data
How do I adjust the inventory for parts used to produce a single product? Example I'm building an item using parts out of my inventory. I want to take those parts out of stock and create one new inventory item. Please advise
I am on account for internet. Officemate on for electric bill.
The customized invoice I created and is my default in quickbooks online is not showing up in the quickbooks app on my phone. I want to send invoices from my phone but I currently can't because I do not want any differences in invoices sent from QBO and the app.
Invoice was incorrect and the error on the invoice was not discovered until after the customer paid the wrong amount. Credit memo was issued on the customer's account to reflect the error. Customer wants their money back.
for example i receive a check in the mail and i go to receive payment credits are already checked how do stop that
