When I void a stale check they used to be marked as VOID - now I have to reenter the check as VOID??
Is there a way to set up the Idaho Administrative Reserve Rate by itself in QB Desktop Payroll? I currently have the Administrative Reserve Rate and Contribution Rate added together and have the total under my state unemployment tax since I can't find a way to add it separately.
This used to be a feature on Desktop. I could choose which payables account I wanted. I have Grants Payable, Contract payable and regular Accounts Payable.
Is there a way to automate the payments received from customers which would be applied to the corresponding invoices? And, if there are any differences in the amounts or unapplied payments, an exception report is generated to be analyzed by the A/R person. It is just time-consuming to apply the payments individually. We normally receive the details of the payment in PDF and Excel format. Is there a third-party app that would read an Excel/PDF document and, afterwards, the information would be migrated into QuickBooks for automatic payment application to the individual invoices?

I am writing to inquire about the possibility of cancelling my current loan with QB and taking out a new one for a higher amount and term.
If one partner decides to take a distribution, but the second partner chooses to not cash their check for the equal at this time how and where should I record that amount?Do I credit the amount to the partner distribution account? Or somewhere else since they are choosing to not take their allocated amount at this time?
I found ia post about: I've got handy steps to share on how to inactivate customers with billable expenses. However, when I tried doing it, I got errors. Already deleted or other similar errors and so nothing is happening. I have thousands of unbillable expenses from previous years that are preventing me from hiding a ton of old clients. This is incredibly frustrating. There should be an option that says, do you want to make them inactive anyway? How can this be fixed? I don't want to see all these old customers every time!

When viewing a JE, the account number does not appear in the Account column anymore, even though I have account number enabled in the Settings.

Hello, My accountant wants my deposits into my bank account from Square to be categorized as "Payments To Deposits". From what I read here, this does not show as income on the P&L, and I understand why, but is there a way to get the deposits to show as income without changing the category, and without going through months of data?
