QuickBooks desktop pro 2018 - I am locked out of one of my datafiles as I didn't log onto my account within 28 days while that datafile was open. Can use all my other datafiles just not this one. QuickBooks says the only way to open the file is to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks which will cost me $450 a year. Such a scam!
I have been waiting for 45 minutes for my update to start and it is just sitting there.

I am using QB Pro Desktop 2018. I recently sent over an accountant's copy to the CPA for end of year and tax prep. She has sent me the updated changes but when I try to import them into the file, I get the error message that I have the wrong company file loaded or I have removed the restrictions from the file already being used. The file I am using shows that the "accountant's changes pending" at the top. I have the only file/company loaded that I use. The only thing that I not clear on is that I did move the QB to a new computer at some point during all of this, but I am not sure if I sent the file before or after. I need to import these changes but am at a loss and the QB support is not much help.
Hello, I have a QB Accountant Online account and I have been trying to upgrade the accounts for two of my clients from Simple Start to Essentials to accommodate multiple currencies. There must be a bug because when I get to the final upgrade page to click "Change Plan" nothing happens. I have spoken to a chat agent, I have tried incognito windows, different browsers, clearing cookies and caches, allowing pop ups, using a different computer, all to know avail. I have even tried using 3 different payment methods, and nothing happens. I click the button, there is a visual cue that I've clicked the button, and the page remains exactly the same and my subscriptions haven't changed. This is a huge bottleneck for where I am with these clients because I can't finish his books for June until I get these foreign bank accounts added. Please help.

I tried uing a thumb drive to move QB desktop from our old laptop to our new PC and the thumb drive isn't big enough. So, we got an external hard drive, but when I go through the steps to move QB, it does not recognize the external hard drive as a USB. Am I doing something wrong or is there a different way to get QB moved?
I have used QBO for a few years but have not exported the QB Time data so that I can see the profitability of each project. What is the best way to make this integration? We are an engineering consulting firm and have 50+ ongoing projects some of which have been in the works for years. Can I export the QB Time data for previous periods so that the older projects have accurate data? Thanks!
