Hello, I would like to know how to make an account a placeholder in my chart of accounts. Example: I sell Ford, Chevy, and Toyota vehicles. I'd like to have a placeholder account called Vehicle Sales with Ford, Chevy, and Toyota being accounts underneath that. So how do I make my Vehicle Sales account a placeholder account? Can someone please tell me why it takes 3 emails and so far 3 phone calls to change a primary admin when all paperwork has been completed? Waiting almost 2 weeks for this and am just about to miss the direct deposit info deadline of 7/31/21. BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!!!

Hi,When producing a Combined P&L on multiple companies, we are required to input the user/password for each company twice during the process. Meaning that when combining 10 companies P&L, I need to input 20 times the user/password. Any way to configure it so I don't need to enter the user/password each time for each company?Many thanks !
dears wondering is there any feature in QuickBooks to have tow account in on? i have a coffee shop and a small home business but I don't want to mix the recodes and book , or I have to purchase a new account ?
I had an Authorized User card linked to my QuickBooks Self Employed and had properly recorded some business transactions with it. That card was recently canceled, but I needed to keep the transactions in QuickBooks. However, QuickBooks would continuously give me errors of "Please reconnect this credit card, we're having troubles connect". Getting annoyed with seeing that message pop up constantly, I went through the prompts to try and get rid of it. I also recently opened up a new Amex card, so when QuickBooks asked if I have a replacement card for this expired credit card account, I mistakenly chose my new credit card. Unfortunately, now this old credit card account is no longer found within my Accounts dropdown in the Transactions section. And now all of the old transactions I made with this old card are now listed under my new Amex card. This is obviously incorrect and not reflective of which specific card I made the charges on. All previous transactions with ABC have been credit card charges (no bills or bill payments). We'll call our company XYZ. XYZ owes ABC $100 but a payment is not not made because previously purchased items are returned. I have a mix of auto and manual payroll that is run weekly. I don't see any place where there is a report to get the info on funds required to fulfill the payroll. The paycheck list run 3 days prior to payroll shows only the manual one. I can go into auto payroll details to get the $ required and then look at the manual payroll and add all of that together, but thought that this would be something that QB would report. Am I missing something fundamental?
I want to say that I have never, ever, had a worse customer service experience than I have had with Quickbooks. I logged on one day to find that they had deactivated my account and kept charging me every month. I tried to call and get in touch with someone who could help me, but the agent put me on hold for an hour and a half and hung up. I called back again trying to get in touch with a supervisor and was told one would get in touch with me. That never happened. I am at wit's end with this company. I have never spent more time trying to get a problem solved and been treated worse by a company. Essentially, Quickbooks stole my money. Unbelievable.

Hello I need some help with QBO Plus inventory When I add a inventory purchase transaction from the bank DashboardSay $100 worth of different types and kinds of products I categorize the transaction as inventory.And the inventory account increase by $100 as it should or would.but now I want to upload the excel list of products purchased from that $100 transaction to the product and services dashboard so I can track the sales of each product.When I do that they are also categorized as inventory and the inventory account increases another $100 and now shows $200 when there is really only $100.So my question is how should I be categorizing the bank transaction vs the inventory item upload.Or do I need to be dong some kind of journal entry or the use of a inventory purchase Clearing account? I hope that makes sense and I appreciate any help you all could provide.
I am exporting from quickbooks online to QuickBooks for mac. The export usually goes to an IIF file but this wasn't created so now I need to export all of those transactions so they can appear in my QB desktop.
How can I upgrade my clients own existing subscription(Essential) to Plus (accountant a/c) ? Will it effect my connected banks and entries already posted ?
