Hi, I'm using QB Enterprise Desktop. We receive multiple direct deposits from the same company into our bank account that I manually enter into OB. Is there a way of recording a batch deposit, but then breaking it down into multiple transactions for reconciliation purposes? It's just very tiring to enter one deposit, click "Save & New," and then have to change the date and memo again to enter the next transaction, and then repeat the process 4-5 times. But if I do it as one deposit, it makes reconciling very difficult since they're individual transactions in our bank account. Also, there is not an invoice or bill that these deposits are attached to in QB. Thanks!
Hello, I did some research but could not figure out an answer to my question. When I download transactions through bank feeds either for my bank or cc, it shows a "Bank Memo" When I want to write what this transaction is for, or a description of the transaction, I have to go to "Add more details" and then in the "Memo" I can put description of the transaction. This is very time consuming when entering 100s of transactions. My question is whether a Memo can be a column in the downloaded transactions, so I can quickly write what it is for and then "add" instead of constantly clicking "add more details" to put in the actual memo of the item. Has anyone else experienced a lack of data in the Projects tab with QBO? I have active Customers and Projects setup, but the Project tab for these projects will not show me the Income - Costs = Profit on the Overview screen. I contacted Intuit Support in October, but they have not resolved the problem. Has anyone experienced this issue and found a resolution? I tried creating new customers with new projects and tried to re-assign the expenses to the new project, but that didn't fix the problem.Thanks!
I am trying to reconcile my books from January 2024 to June 2024 and I noticed that there are a number of transactions from February 2024 that aren't in QuickBooks but they are in my Chase checking bank statement. How am I supposed to get these missing transactions into QuickBooks? My bank feed is working and I have updated it multiple times.
Hello, The bank connection for my Stripe accounts keeps getting disconnected. We previously discussed this issue, and the case number is 15129399878. Every time the connection is lost, we ask the company owner to reconnect it. He does so, but it disconnects again the next day. Since he is constantly traveling and attending meetings, I am not always able to get support. He is also becoming frustrated with this recurring issue. When we opened the case, you requested to be contacted by the company owner. However, due to his busy schedule, this is not possible. The company where I work for recently moved banks. The old bank account is still in our Quick Books. Recently the company received a NSF check with the new bank account and I entered it by a journal entry, (which has changed unfortunately, because I never had to enter NSF checks that way before) and Quick Books asked if I wanted all NSF checks entered that way and I hit the yes button. OK so when I went to reconcile my MAC desktop version of QB, not all trans actions are shoiwng up on the reconciliation page? I was able to reconcile by going from the reconciliation page back to the check register and checking the transaction off there to reach 0. Any help? can someone call me and look remotelyThanks
I inadvertently deleted a $7k bank feed deposit and would like to re-establish it in order to match the different invoice payments, credits, etc. the $7k deposit funds.
I want to be able to verify my bank information on Quickbooks when it gets disconnected. But only my CPA's email address is listed as an option to verify. How do I add my email address also (I am the owner of the company.). This is what is show: For your security, A. F. Credit Union requires additional verification info. I need to restart my bank account with a new one, so I need to delete the old account and all the transactions that were posted. Is the only way to go in and select delete for each transaction? There are 900 transactions to delete. Is there a faster way?
I input my invoices manually. I have a $6.94 refund, a $6.01 sale, and a $0.47 processing fee that need to be matched to a $1.40 record in the spent column on the Banking page. To reiterate-6.94+6.01-0.47to a 1.40 transaction in the spent column, so -1.40 transaction. How do I do this? Thank you.

Hello,I am a Quickbooks Online customer and very happy with the software to run my business.With the offering of 3% interest in QB Checking Envelopes, I decided to transfer a large sum of money from another business account to QuickBooks Checking (Envelope). It said 3 to 5 business days to complete the transaction. I was without my funds for 10 days and I had to call 5 times into QuickBooks Checking and Green Dot Bank to finally someone asked me to go back to the external bank and get a trace number, which I did and started a case. It took 2 days after that for the case to get resolved and receive my funds in the Envelope.The whole experience was horrible and wasted so much of my time and was very unpleasant.Then I received today an email from Quickbooks that says, my case is closed because they did not see any issue with my debit card? Our QB online account got imported into QB back in 2022. The people before me never correctly categorized or expensed the banking transactions so now our QB balance and our actual bank balance does not even match at all. Is there any way I can go about fixing this without screwing up our 2022 financials? I do not want our Balance Sheet to be misstated with an incorrect bank balance.
Hello, I am getting a notification that after 3/30/23 the only bank feed available for American Express will be "American Express - QBDT". I disabled my feed to try to re-establish my bank feed using the new system and it requires the account owner approval and says to "have the authorized account holder provide authorization." Does this mean this only works with the account owner's login information? I have always been able to link the accounts before using my account manager login. Another article I read said that this update only applies to people who are setting up new bank feed connections after 3/30/23 and if we have an old connection it will continue working. This may be true, if you never have to disconnect your old feed, but that is rarely the case. I would like to make sure I can get the new connection working when I inevitably have to re-establish a connection and the "American Express" option is not available anymore. Any assistance you prov
It NEVER matches things correctly, and when I hit "not a match" it starts pulling up similar transacations, ALSO NOT CORRECT, and I have to sit there for like 30 minutes just hitting not a match until this stupid program finally gives up trying to find similar transactions.

I am working in my clients qboa and for some reason the finance charges and late fees do not get pulled in on the bank feeds for the credit card. Is there a way to manually enter those so that my reconciliations are correct each month? Of course the checking account payments come out correctly when I pay the bill they just aren't in the register for the credit card.
