My self employed app won't reconnect to my bank so I'm missing out on a huge part of the service I pay for. To exacerbate this issue the support "feature" does not and hasn't worked for months and there is no phone number or email address to contact them via. I will take this to the financial ombudsman soon as this "service" is just sorely lacking in any actual service provision.
I currently own QuickBooks Pro 2018 and need to know if this is way too complicated for what I actually need it for. All I want to do is balance 5 bank accounts by using Direct Connect with my bank and utilize a few reports. All this matching and reconciling makes the process longer than I anticipated. I was using Quicken but wanted the reporting of QuickBooks. Do you think there is a better version of QuickBooks I should be using or will I be performing the same tasks regardless of the version? Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
We use a back office software that imports our store deposits into QB. A store manager did not deposit the funds into the bank account due to theft.We have an account for long/short for each store, but I don't know how to reverse the deposit to reflect a shortage, and reconcile the bank statement.

Hi everyone, my bank acount numbers are not showing on the banking transaction, nor the bank account names. It's no pulling that information. normally there will be the last 4 digits of the account. Am I using an old or dated version of this, or does it only show on some browsers? I'm using firefox Thanks

DCU bank changed their login menthod. QBO still uses the old method
QB Self Employed keeps trying to remotely logon to my bank. This can't be done due to security prompts that it can not respond to. Can I set up my accounts so that QB will only try to logon to them while I am logged on or request a transaction pull?

What is the best way to upload Chase credit card and Discover Card transactions. I have 24 months worth that need entering. I currently use quickbooks desktop 2020 and manually enter all transactions but these cards have two years worth that havent been recorded. I remember trying with the Chase card in the past (uploaded to a excel format I believe but I hit a snag). Thanks for the any input or if someone can point me in the right direction.
I have been performing bank reconciliations by downloading the bank feed and importing the file into QB. Some transactions get matched automatically but all of the wire payments, bank fees and e-transfers don't. I have to manually enter the same transactions every month so QB can match them. After matching all the transactions I reconcile the bank. However, when it's time to do the bank rec in the next month all the transactions that were previously matched show as unmatched. My questions are: 1) Does anyone know why those transactions that were previously matched show as unmatched when I do the bank rec in the next month?2) Is there a way that QB can recognize e-transfers and bank fees that are the same amounts every month rather than me entering them manually every time?
Hi folks,I've been using QB for 25 years. I recently used the online payment / bank transfer option on two invoices for the first time. Neither payment shows up for my bank reconciliation. Also experienced some snags with the bill pay program. Melio cannot pick up vendor credits so I have to do the initial credit with a journal entry--when the vendor's next bill comes in, I reverse or delete the JE and make a credit line item on the new bill. Such a pain. I wish Intuit would work this out. So many question is--anyone else experience this? Specifically on the bank reconciliation, anyone have advice? Or am I just missing something obvious? When I download bank transactions and begin categorizing them I have issues with both the payroll checks and the payroll tax payments. When I match them up I end up having two entries in my bank register for the payroll taxes. The payroll checks are an issue because when I categorize them sometimes they don't end up showing on my 941 report. I know I must be choosing the wrong category but I can't figure it out and it is so frustrating. Any help is soooo appreciated.
Anyway we can get quickbooks to update the web address for Vystar Credit Union in order to link accounts with qbo. it’s been changed to online.vystarcu.org Nobody with VyStar is able to link accounts with quickbooks currently.
How do I unmatch something in the bank feed in QB desktop Pro latest version? I find instructions for online but not desktop. Under tab "added to register" there is a transaction that I added incorrectly by "adding details" when I meant to match it to a bill. I want it to go back into "unrecognized" tab so I can match it correctly. How do I undo this transaction. I know I can go to the register and manually delete it, which I did. However, I would have still liked to match it to the bill. Instead I pulled up the bill and "paid" it so the accounting was right. In short, how do I "undo" or "unmatch" what is under the "Added to Register" tab? Please make sure instructions are for desktop, not online version. Thank you :)

QuickBooks freezes when I try to open an old uncleared deposit. I can't revert or cancel. It is just stuck. How do I prevent that?
