It used to be the case that I would review a series of App Transactions in the Intuit Square App, and then when I would open up and review my Bank Transactions the deposits of matching dollar amounts would display the "Match" action instead of "Confirm". This has suddenly stopped working, even though I've reviewed my App Transactions in the Square integration App and verified that the App Transactions have been matched to a deposit. What has happened? Why isn't the Bank Transactions section picking up the reviewed Square App Transactions as Matches anymore?
I'd like to import older transactions from a CSV file for a credit card account I no longer have access to and have closed from a previous year. Is there a way to create the account in quickbooks online? I'm using QBSE. Or can I only import it as Cash? Thank you!

I have tried to link a bank account. It takes me to the credit union log in. When i get to the verification method, it asks if i want to send teh code to an email or a phone number. I select my number, but never get a code. When i log in to the credit union website and it asks where i want the code sent, it sends it to my phone number just fine.
I thought I would start with the chart of accounts but everything I have looked at online says differently??
I was on the page along with the credit card from the same bank. I had to reconnect to the bank and after I reconnected the credit card account was there but not the checking account.
My invoices don't match when I get paid through QB. How do I categorize these?
Steps I have tried:1. Disconnecting and reconnecting bank accountsUpdating manually Updating over timeUpdating single accounts
I'm using QuickBooks Online Self Employed. I've downloaded transactions from the account in CSV format. It contains the Sate, Description, and Amount columns. Multiple attempts to import fails with a message saying "probably our fault".

A little while back, something changed. What used to happen was that if QBO recognized a bank transaction from a vendor that had been paid and entered into QBO before, it would autofill with that payee name. Otherwise, if it did not recognize the payee info from the bank, it would leave it blank. This was perfect. Not long ago, QBO started almost always filling in the payee (customer/vendor) line. The trouble is if it was a new payee, QBO seems to take some sort of random guess as to who the payee might be, autofilling incorrect information that I now have to fix. I have to do more work than before. I use QBO to do the accounting for a dozen different companies, and import transactions from a least as many banks - and it's happened with every company, every bank. So I know it's not a change on the bank's side. This is driving me nuts. To stop this from happening, is there a way I can disable QBO from auto filling the payee info from imported bank transactions...?
One account listed under two headings:John Smith Co.&CheckingBut they are the same and I need to merge!
