We need to update the UI rate for the state of Texas for the year 2024. The rate we need to set is 6.25%. However, when I attempt to update, the system displays that the allowed rate range is from 0.13% to 6.23%. How can I correctly update the rate for the year 2024 to be 6.25%
If I run payroll thursday morning for Friday pay day, and I add the direct deposit on tuesday prior, is that enough time for the direct deposit to become effective?
Does anyone have issues with the payroll items updates? My state UI limits have not been updated and I just got off the chat support site where I was transferred 7 times and couldn't handle it any more!
I have a personal Quickbooks account, but in trying to open paychecks.intuit.com to view paychecks from a new job. I am getting this error message: 'The email you entered belongs to an admin account. Only employees can access their Workforce accounts.' I am the admin on my personal Quickbooks, but this is unrelated to the new job. Because I already have a Quickbooks account I am unable to access the paychecks for the new job. Help!
We have a client who is converting from QB Desktop to QB Online, and they will also be having a full service payroll subscription Online. I have run across a problem, as the owner is the only one who knows the salary information, and he would like to keep that confidential - however, the bookkeeper in the firm would be having access to QB Online, and as such, would they also have access to the employee salary information? Is it possible for the bookkeeper to be set up so they cannot view the employee salary information, but still be able to run payroll? Or would the owner have to set up the bookkeeper to have no access to payroll but have his access set up to run payroll under his login? Could he have my login (as the accountant) set up to run payroll, in case he is unavailable to run it? Thank you for your help!
We have moved our book from Quick books Desktop to Quick books online. I opted out of transferring the old info and started from scratch on QB online. There are 2 previous employes that I did not enter into QB online at the time of set up.Can someone please help me to add these two employees along with their previous payroll information. With out this, I cannot print W-2s.
I am trying to set up 1099 contractors to be paid by direct deposit. When I go into the contractor/Vendor and click additional Info there is no direct deposit button. When I go to pay vendors tab the only drop-down options are check and credit card. I already have direct deposit set up for employees. I am using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance. Screenshot attached.
I followed the steps mapped out in the "create and file 1099 QB online". i got through the first two steps 1 select accounts, 2 review recipients (all was correct), 3 preview forms was completely blank & said no vendors match (BUT they were listed on the preview step). If i go to the tab that says Taxes/1099 filings, under status it says sent and i can view them under actions/view. i can also view summary and see the details there.however, i spoke to one of our employees and she has not received the email from qb to be able to download a copy of the 1099. how can i be sure they were filed and sent to the employees? i know it says sent but i never got to finish the steps. its almost like there was glitch in the system.
I am getting the attached error when trying to update some employees PTO level. When I choose a different PTO level, enter their balance and try to save I get an Error 8901017. This is happening every 5 employees or so and I have about 130 to update because we have changed our PTO policies this year. Looking for a way around this error so I can update these employee PTO levels.
I have 21 employees in QB payroll but I also have 51 employees not in QB's.Can I submit my 21 QB employees through QB's and the remaining through SSA?
Help: in the employee center, when I have Active Employee open, the Name columns close up anytime I do anything. This means I have to slide the column to the right every time to be able to see the employees' names. How do I keep this column open all the way to see the full employee names?
Sent in a tax change from my state and quickbooks says resolved but its not how do I fix this?
After I have submitted a payroll direct deposit to Intuit, I found a correction that needs to be made. It is still before the 2 banking days before the paycheck date (1/15/19) and the transction is showing as pending when I view my Intuit Payroll Service Account Information. Is there a way to delete this transaction and resubmit it?
The Tax payment pages have changed. The "pay taxes" button used to generate a link to the payroll tax worksheet.
Employees lost their payroll checks on 01/05/2024. When try submit payroll again system gives me a message that says by using 01/05 as a pay date could cause you to make a late tax payment and incur a penalty. Try choosing a date closer to today's date. I CAN'T use another date since payroll was ran on 01/05/2024. Please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx
I noticed that my employee's vacation time did not carry over from 2023 to this year. They get 40 hours/year, and they didn't use any last year. So, they should have 80 hours available for this year. The only thing that is not marked is for it to reset each year but if I check that would it clear what they had and reset to the new amount?
I have been trying to get a resolution to this for a week. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with someone who sent me to Quickbooks online who said there was a technical issue and they would get back to me. Today I was on chat with someone who said she was working on it and then at 6:00 just ended the chat!!!!! We have always had separate lines for the Pastor Expenses (including Salary) and Assistant Pastor since 2013 in Desktop version. we had to go Online as they said they no longer support desktop in 2023. Since April 2023, their Salaries are going to a WAGE line which was only for ME.....so the financial reports are now inaccurate. Their individual Salary lines are only showing the first quarter 2023 when we were using desktop. It seems like a simple matter of correcting how their Gross Pay is coded/mapped or whatever they do behind the scenes??? we have online core payroll - they file our 941's so I hope they are correct!!!!
