When my bank & CC company imports the expenses, they are being imported in with the posted date - not the actual payment date. Since we are doing the accrual method, should the charges should be recorded as actual date of purchase for the payment date? If so, how do I get the automatic import to capture that date? Thanks!
I have to send invoices that are due on specific dates rather than in a specific time period like net 30/net 60. How do I change the preferred terms to say that it is due on that day? For example, I create an invoice in January for a payment that is due August 14 and I don't want the invoice to say Due on Receipt or Net 30/Net 60. How can I change the preferred terms to reflect this?TIA for any assistance.

Good morning, I have question if someone knows regarding Cycle Count inventory; We have the Unassigned Bin Location inactive, why is appearing when doing the Cycle Count? We have the items twice, one with the correct Bin Location and one with the Unassigned Location. (See the attachment) Is there a way to eliminate from Cycle Count? Thank you!!
I have set up an email to have employees forward their receipts in QB. The receipts do get uploaded to the receipts section for my review, but we keep getting an error saying the the file format can't be processed by our system right now & to use a supported file type. We are using a supported file type - we are sending them as PDFs. Is there a reason we are still getting this error? Thanks!
Was contacted by email from intuit that I needed to install payroll update 22507. I can't find any detailed information on this update like I usually do in order to review changes the update contains and other critical information. I've checked the support sites and even the internet, it's as if it doesn't exist yet. Could this email be spam attempt to gain information about my company or worse. If not, can you help me find the information on the update 22507

Vendor credit applied to an item does not appear on the item Quick Report for lower level users. So, the total quantity on this Quick Report is off by the same amount. Higher level users do see the transaction on their Quick Report. Is this a permission issue? If so, what is the permission to change for these users to see the Credit transaction entry and subsequent correct quantity on hand? We have updated QB version, verified and rebuilt company file, removed and re-added users, and checked report dates with no success.
Hello, I have inputted the budget for our upcoming FY. However, if I look at a P&L for next FY, the total numbers are different than the individual budgets put together. If there is no class filter, there are extra numbers in the budget. If I select all classes on the class filter, the numbers are correct. This makes me assume there is an unclassified number. However, each class in the budgeting tool is correct, so there is no where I can change an unclassified number. I am grateful for any ideas on how to solve this.
I work for a nonprofit, and we do not have our bank account connected to QBO. For audit, they want to see every transaction from each account, monthly, in one report. I customized a transaction report by date that shows everything I need. However... It shows all transfers going out, but does not include the transfers coming in. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Hello,I've been using quickbooks for over 20 years and I have to tell you some of these updates are killing how my buisness operates, I've called on this only to get no answers and they see the issue but nothing gets fixed, I will try to explain this as easy as possible and maybe someone has these answer?So I create a labor invoice out of my projects.I go to manage, suggestions, click on suggested transactions, filter, time charges, apply filter.Then my employee's that sometimes I have 3 or 4 employee's working on the same project.I always have done this until about 4 weeks ago everything changed. I was able to add my employee's in a row on the invoice by clicking add, then I would move to my next employee and add their week and so on. I have my employee's put their name/date in their notes when they do a note for the day. I may have an employee work 3 day or 5 days but I add them to the invoice by their name because after I have say 5 days of entries for one employee
Our old bank merged with a new bank, after adding the new bank in the feed it dowloaded all the old transactions from the old bank that were already matched and reconciled.
Hello,We just started using QuickBooks to receive credit card payments from customers. I was surprised to see that I was able to see the full credit card numbers in the customer center under Payment Settings. Is there a way to hide the numbers, except for the last 4, as soon as it has been entered? I want the users to be able to enter credit card numbers but, once its been entered I want it to X out the numbers. Is this possible? Thanks!
when I try to approve employee hours it gives me an error code 10000, not sure what it means but it wont let me approve the hours
