Hi there,I'm hoping someone can help with this issue.I'm using Qbks for MAC desktop 2020 and entering a full fiscal year so I need to change the date as I go, starting at July 2022. The issue is that I go to enter the date manually, using various formats (my mac preferences are for mon/day/year) and Qbks keeps changing it back to today's date. It's confusing because it worked a few times, but now not. I've checked preferences on both my MAC and Qbks. The little calendar icon that appears by the date does nothing when clicked on.If anyone has suggestions or can help that would be so appreciated. Thanks,Sarah 🙂
Can I create an invoice template from scratch?
I would like to run a report in QuickBooks Desktop that will tell me an average on each vendor how long it took the company to pay their bills the same like we have the option to get a report for the customers Average Days to Pay Report.
I am a winery controller and would like to know if 'Unit of Measure' will calculate liters and gallons per line item on an invoice base on quantity of Item sold. Such that at at end of a period I can have on a 'Sales by Item' Report: Qty, $sold, total liter and total gallons by Item/Sku. This will simply calculating excise tax, since items are of different volumes.
I can't log into my quickbooks online on my chromebook but I can if I use my desktop computer to log into my quickbooks online.
I am helping someone who has serious problems with their QB online books going back several years including many that are still in the transactions that need review so they never got into the reports. When I tried to correct some things in 2020 I got a pop-up requiring a password because the year is closed. I tried every password I know of, none worked. Also there are many changes that need to be made so it will be VERY time consuming to have to enter a password for every entry. Until about a month ago they had Simple Start, now Essentials. They did give their tax return preparer their password and I know he made some Journal Entries in some prior years. Is there a chance they made a password only they have with Simple Start? Anyone have any idea what I can do? TYIA.
How to set up form 941 for efile
Does anyone else use Ramp for CC reporting by employees? We're on QB Enterprise Desktop and are trying to set up Ramp accounts. Ramp has several canned categories for reporting on the app, but we need one for reporting company vehicle mileage to interface with our QB file. There is no field for reporting mileage that I've seen in QB Enterprise that I have seen. Does anyone have a solution for this, like using some customizable field that might be available for this purpose?
I've connected my account seamlessly for years to Merrill Lynch. Recently, it stopped updating and, when I went to re-connect, it gave me a 105 error and said it can't connect. I removed the connection and tried to start from scratch and got the same error. Is there any solution to this?
How do I set up the credit for employers on tips
Hi Community. In the last week we had 6 failed attempts at logging into our bank account after a change in our PW. These attempts locked our bank account. When looking at these failed logins, I've got questions. 1) Does QB log in from a particular IP and only that IP?2. when QB logs in, does it show as from a particular browser like IE or Safari or Mozilla? i.e. How do we know when it is QB online trying to connect to our bank account and not a hacker?3. If there is one failed login (for whatever reason) how many more times does QB attempt to log in to our bank account? Basically, I want to make sure that QB doesn't lock our account inadvertently until I can update it. Hope that makes sense.
I was able to add photo attachments a few days ago, now the option is gone.
I am using QuickBooks Desktop for a few of my clients. Part C of the NYS-45 is not calculating correctly. It is not showing all of the employees, SS #'s and amounts. Sometimes it is blank. Other times, the total 4th quarter wages appear on one employee's name, which is not correct. Forms 941 and 949
Hello, I've never experienced this before, but while trying to reconcile my Bank of America CC I've checked all the charges, payments and credits correctly. But It's showing I'm off by over $13,000 !!! The statement only has 2 payments but at the top of the screen QB says there are 4 payments. ??? I think this is where the problem is, but I have no idea what to do to fix this. Why is it wrong, how do I fix this? Thank you!
I have reviewed all the community boards and cannot find the answer. I have QuickBooks merchant plan and QuickBooks online. I understand QuickBooks is unable at this time to add the credit card fee automatically to the clients bill. If I add the credit card fee manually to the invoice, does QuickBooks merchant plan charge me a credit card fee for the manually added credit card fee on the invoice?
We are unable to create a custom email address to email in receipts. Entering an address and clicking create returns the error "Something Went wrong while creating the email. You can contact support for help." I have contacted support and they were no help. Anyone ever find a solution to this on desktop?
We have jobs that cross fiscal years. My issue occurs when I attempt to run a Job Profitability Summary/Detail Report for the current year and there are jobs that include transactions from the previous year. If I select jobs for the current fiscal year, then only transactions that occurred in the current year appear in the report. If I am running the report for just a single job, this is easy to resolve...I just select the job and make sure the dates cover the entire period of the job. But if attempt to use the same logic for all jobs , then the report includes all jobs from both years, even if they were closed in the previous year. Is there a way to run the Job Profitability reports just for jobs that were active in the current year but include the transactions from a previous year? We need to know the true/total cost of our jobs. Please note that we are careful to populate the Projected End Date and the End Date for each job. I apprec
I was wondering if there was a way to export the FAMLI report and the Quarterly Wage report in .csv to the compliance of the state. Since they changed to electronic filing only, we've been manually doing all the data entry from the PDF report (PAYROLL > PAYROLL CENTER > PAYROLL > FILE FORMS > UI I QUARTER... or PFML - PAID FAMILY.... > CREATE FORM), so I've been trying to find a simpler way to do it without spending 3 days each quarter doing data entry. I contacted support and the instructions they gave me where not what I needed: Open QuickBooks Desktop and navigate to the Reports menu.Select Employees & Payroll.Choose Payroll Summary or Payroll Detail report.Set the date range to cover the quarterly period you need.Set the columns to show the Total OnlyDouble click the specific area you needed from your report, you have the gross pay, Deductions and many more covered in payroll.Customize any additional filters as necessary.Run the report to view the quarterly
Why would Quick Books knowingly send out incorrect W-2's???? We have QB Desktop Enterprise Edition. The earnings amounts the W-2's do not match what is in the QB system. We have contacted customer support several times and have not gotten a satisfactory response. WHO do I need to speak to to get this matter corrected???? Thanks, Phil

I uploaded 900 contacts that did not have the correct date format. Now i have the correct format but it wont let me upload those contacts becuase the names are already in the system. Is their a way to write over them?
