I added transactions and reconciled for all of 2024. I am now trying to go back and add transactions from 2023, but I can't figure out how to reconcile those transactions. Is it possible to do? If so what do I need to do?
How do I get a 1099 report that includes company name and vendor name (full name) with SSN or EIN included? I have tried to build a custom report but the SSN/EIN is not valid.
I have a time entry for an employee that is posted to the project & it shows up under the project. It also shows up when I pull a time report. However, if I go to the TIME tab - TIME ENTRIES - and bring up this employee's time for last week, the total time is short this time entry. I tried having it added again, and now its showing up as a duplicate in the project & reports - but still not showing up in the the TIME tab. Is there a known issue with QB time right now that would cause this to happen?Thanks!
I purchased a QB credit card reader on December 30, 2022. I’ve been using it for two years. There are three staff at my company that have been using it since that time without problems. Last month the card reader started only syncing with one staff person’s phone; myself (the owner) and another staff person mysteriously lost access and it no longer will pair with our phones. The software on our phones are up to date. All of the users, including the one that it still will pair with, have unpaired and disconnected the card reader. It seems like something changed with the card reader. If the machine has malfunctioned I would like QB to mail me a new one free of charge. Alternatively, please fix this issue on your end. I’ve called QB help twice and neither representative was able to help me.
Hello,We fix and flip homes. We buy products in bulk, for example: knobs, valves, LED lights, etc. I use Products to put these items into inventory. Lets say I start with: 100 qty purchase of valves with calculated unit price of $6.58 each (with tax included). I put into Products, 100 qty at $6.58. All is good so far. As we complete projects, I create a Sales receipt and pull the items from inventory. So if a project uses 25 valves, the sales receipt will add $164.50 (25 *$6.58) to the cost of our renovation. All is still good. Now, lets say we complete several projects, and now my qty in inventory has a balance of 7 valves. I need to order more. But here is where I am having issues. When I reorder, almost ALL the time, prices increase from one time of purchase to the next. When I reorder, 100 valves now cost $7.49 each. The current project will need 11 valves.... 7 at the price of $6.58 each, and the remaining 4 to be pulled in at the new price of $7.49 each. and I

HELP and please don't just send a bot answer!!! SEE ATTACHED PDF OF EMAIL FROM QUICKBOOKS EMAIL WITH ATTACHED INVOICE...Recently my web mail stopped working, couldn't figure that out, so switched to "quickbooks email" through my microsoft outlook. Well emails are going out again BUT, now you all are showing my computer file name within the email you generate when I send a invoice. QB had to fix it once and now my file name is "fixed_my company LLC" now that looks real intelligent. Is there a way to fix this when using quickbooks email or should i go back to trying to figure out why my web mail just stopping working. Pray I get a real answer. There are many "unsolved" questions on this matter.

Can someone helm me understand 1-where does the retained earnings come from? I read the formula, but I cant see where the number is coming from, I started a company in QB so I don't have previous retained earnings, what is being considered to show my a number that is not zero? Also, can I delete this column from the Balance sheet?Thank you

I am wondering if I can use one account for both of these and if so, how do I sort the different businesses I see that when I record a payment it wants either business or personal, but I want to sort it into business A business B or personal is there a way to do that? If so, how
New office manager here- The co. owner wants me to add pending transactions (shown on his bank account) to quickbooks so the balance is reflecting the real time amount. Were not sure by manually doing this if it will affect anything once the bank account clears these. Will we end up having duplicate entries on QB or should we NOT add it and wait for the bank to clear it. We are already connected to his account through QB so its not showing these pending transactions.
I feel like I'm going in circles trying to get in touch with a real customer support person. My company has two instances of Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise. The individual that managed the licenses and payments is no longer with the company. I'm trying to log into their Quickbooks Online account to update the contact information and manage the billing information. While I do have access to their old email account, I don't have access to their phone for the 2FA. I tried calling the support number and while I did get through to a human I could not understand what they were saying as there was a baby crying in the background. They mentioned something about a transfer ownership form, but I would need provide my a copy of my Government ID?!?! I'm absolutely not providing that. Please, is there any way possible to talk to a real person either via phone or email? I have admin access to the Quickbooks company files and have the 2 license keys.
How do I go about printing grid lines between line items on invoices and estimates for QB online. I was able to do so for the desktop version.

For 2 months now employee's Federal, Medicare and Social Security Taxes are not being deducted and or calculated correctly for all employees. This is very frustrating because I'm having to manually enter it and I'm not even sure if I'm doing this correctly. I tried calling customer support but got no where. Please help!
Hi Group... I am new to using the online scheduled bill payment. I am trying to take credits on my payment, and I don't seem to be able to do so. I have to reduce the amount of an invoice paid. So my vendors keep showing underpay's on the next statement. I am also unable to take a discount when paying bills too (even when I have terms set up when entering the bill, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong with that!). I have to enter the discount as a vendor credit so that makes it even worse for the underpayments.Any help would be appreciated.
We're using QB 2015 Premier and have had a Win 2012 Essentials server since, well, 2012. Moved to a new Win 2022 server which required new Active Directory Domain setup and migration of users. All this has happened successfully. I copied our data files to the new server, installed QB on the server, ran the QB Database Manager, scanned directories and tried to run multi-user and failed. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps from "How to fix Error H202 and H205 with the exception of using the QB Tool Hub file fix. WB Tool Hub File Fix just stays in starting mode and never gets past that - 2 hours didn't get it launched. Interestingly, if I launch my file from QB on the server in multi user mode, I succeed and a 2nd user can login on a workstation. However, once I close on the server, I cannot enter multi user mode from a workstation. This is on all data files on the server. Any ideas?
We are testing Quickbooks Desktop on AWS Workspaces. For the most part it works but it is much slower than in our Citrix environment, where I can add much more cpu and ram than in AWS. However, when doing banking reconciliation, it is taking many times longer to finish the process. One process that takes 1 minute on prem with Citrix takes 5 minutes. The entire process takes 10 minutes in Citrix but takes 2-4 hours in Workspaces. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks in advance.
