can I see if I already have customers in the same zip code?
I went to pay and file state unemployment and it is missing from the list of items coming up due.
I connected wrong bank account. how can I delete the bank account
I found how to map the income side of the invoice through the product/service selection and set up. However the AR parent and Sub accounts set up don't seem to have a relationship with the invoice or customer that I can dictate. There is a category, but that seems unrelated to the chart of accounts.I track ARs for Client expense, ARs for Commissions, ARs for Fixed Billing, but currently it is putting them all in the same AR account.I am need to set it up this way becuase my business structure includes my clients and their customers and I need to track both. I track my client via the AR since I bill them, but need to tract the jobs/projects for their customers that we bring them business from.
First one bank and now another bank are no longer connecting. What is the work around?
HI ... yes, I'm stuck on Desktop 2019, working on a transition to Online. I have several thousand vendors to inactivate, how can I do this efficiently with a batching or file upload? Could be in a similar situation with customers. Thanks for any help.
I'm hoping it isn't sending two to my customers/clients too.
Products were working but have stopped populating on the invoice. The products are still in the chart of accounts. What do I do to get the products to self-populate as I'm typing the first few letters of the product?

I get the report now with the entire address in the field and I need to have the city, state, and zip separated.
Buyer beware - we signed up for Quickbooks merchant services and everything was going fine. Then we discovered that if you charge a card and then refund it the same day, you are charged TWICE by QB. We were charged once when the charge initially went through through and again on the refund (although the refund fee was about $20 less than the original charge). Our other merchant account does not charge us at all if we refund the card the same day, and even a few days later if we refund the card, we are charged a small fee and nothing on the refunded amount. All totaled, Quickbooks policy cost us roughly $200 on a transaction that was never completed because it was refunded the same day. We're going back to our other merchant account for most of our transactions. Seems a bit overreaching to us.

Hello, I have a situation, where single check is issued to pay multiple contractors. When I categorize the transaction, I can only split under category - Contractors. But I do not see an option to split across each contractor record. Is it possible? Thanks, [Removed]
With the quarterly 941 filing deadline just around the corner, Katelynne and Sofia used the most recent Answer Room segment to take a deeper look at what a 941 form is and who should be filing it. In addition to form 941, they also take a look at how QuickBooks Online can help automate the tax filing and payment process, as well as what payroll filing deadlines small business owners should be aware of throughout the year. Does anyone know if QB Enterprise is compatible with US Bank SinglePoint?Specifically using QB bill pay and importing bill payments file to SinglePoint to print and mail checks directly
Hello, geniuses 🙂 I've been doing bookkeeping for many years, but I'm not a trained bookkeeper, so I learn a lot as I go from my CPA. At once point, he instructed me to close out the previous year's retained earnings every year on January 1st, so I do. I do this by a journal entry debiting the retained earnings account and crediting each partner's capital account accordingly. I'm just now noticing, while running a report of the retained earnings account, that each of these annual debits just puts the retained earnings further and further in the negative. Is this normal? It kind of makes the retained earnings account useless. Is it possible that Quickbooks is NOT moving the net income to retained earnings at the end of each year? If it were, then my journal entry would simply zero out the net earnings account. Thanks for your help.
QBO claims they sent a payment to a bank belonging to my vendor but that account never recived the $$.
Buen día Tengo una pregunta en mi plan de cuentas tengo la cuenta Cash Rewards Business cargada en "debe" cuando por ser pasivo debería de estar abonado en el "haber", la pregunta es por qué razón esta en el "debe", muestro imagen.
I'm on QBAccountant, and I am receiving a blind carbon copy of every invoice that is being sent out by one of my clients. I have checked the settings both on the firm side, and on the client side and there are no default emails in the Sales section. SS attached. So why am I receiving these emails? I have considered setting a rule in my inbox to ignore things from QB but that seems risky. [Screenshot removed contains PII: Email Address]
Hi,When I click on the customer tab to see my open invoices - the amount of open invoices it says I have has doubled over night. It seems like Quickbooks is counting each invoice twice and also counting every line on the invoice as another open invoice. I'm not sure why this changed since I only have 217 invoices open but it now saying I have 485. Is this a new feature to count every service on the invoice as a new open invoice? I prefered it when it just counted the invoice as one open invoice no matter how many services were on the invoice. I'm sorry if this is confusing - just wondering why the change?
