I am wondering if there is a way to copy a list of bank rules from an existing company on my desktop to a new company. both company's are the same just need to start fresh thanks O r at least b able to print it out I don't use online it is on my desktop.
I accidentally activated direct deposit. Have no dd info in employees. Have been running pr and printing checks. It won't let me continue, it says I have unsent payrolls. i do not want direct deposit or qb to pay liabilities. Have been on three chats and no one can help

When I try to pay employees it tells me to update and I click get updates, but when I update it tells me to go online before a specific date. After I click Ok it keeps telling me to get updates. When I try to make checks my deductions aren't popping up. I also can't pay liabilities. I have an active subscription and I've tried updating QuickBooks it still doesn't work.
When I connect my second Citibank credit card account, QB disconnects from the first account. When I connect my first Citibank credit card account, QB disconnects from my second account. How do I keep both connected at the same time?
I can't verify my account to transfer money to a different bank.

Hello There, I am new to the Community. Need to ask a simple question. will appreciate f anyone can shed some light on it. I have an Expense GL. it had transaction in FY-2023. So there was a closing balance in it. the same is shown if I run the Trail Balance as on Dec 31,2023. After that there was no any transactions in it For FY2024. I have never closed the books for FY-2023. But issue is, if I run the Trail Balance as on Dec 31,2024 this GL account appears with no balance. Where as, it should have a balance which was there as on Dec 31,2023. there is no activity in retained earning GL. again the books were never closed. Why this GL shows no balance as on Dec 31,2024. TB is Balance, So Where the did the balance transferred. RegardsYasar
Is it possible on a Project Estimate to hide individual line items from a client and just show subtotals? For internal Estimate versus Actual reporting, we need the individual line items but the client does not need the detail, just the subtotal. For example, on a recent estimate we have a line item called Payroll and a line item called Hotel which subtotal to a line item called Labor. The client only needs to see the line item called Labor. I understand that certain columns can be hidden from the client but can line items also be hidden?We use QBO Advanced.
Hello- I am trying to enter a journal entry in QB online. Only a few accounts (mainly asset accounts) are available to use. If I type in a different account, it asks me to set up that new account. The dropdown menu for accounts lists just a few, the last item says 'empty string'.I have tried a different browser, cleared my cache and rebooted my computer. Nothing has helped.I have several different companies in QB online and the others are working fine. Any advice?
How do I print a Quarterly federal tax returns?
1 week ago we stopped receiving email notifications about customers having made payments via Quickbooks payments. This has been working for 16 years and we changed nothing on our side. I have checked, double checked, and triple checked spam and have added all related intuit email addresses and *@intuit.com to whitelists on both email clients and email server. I have had tech support send a test message from QBOCare <[email address removed]> which came through to my inbox immediately.I think the server stopped sending the messages but 2 hours on the phone this morning yielded no help and really no understanding of the problem. They just keep telling me that it is our email's fault, not Intuit's fault. I don't think this is true. In these forums I see there is supposed to be some settings to configure email alerts but they are mysteriosly gone from the interface. Of course tech support knows nothign about this. &nb
When trying to backup, I receive a message that I had issues with the company file that required a rebuild. I've never seen these before. Does rebuilding hurt any of your current data?
I have set up the following and have a few questions:we have switched from a debit card to a credit card for purchasesour bank told us to do this for security purposesI have set up the credit card to send its data (charges) to QBOeach Saturday I assign the credit card charges to the correct accounts in our chart of accountse.g., $27.50 for a sprinkler is charged to the "landscaping" accountSo far this month, the charges amount to $128Here's my question: when I move money in our bank account to cover the $128 credit card charges, that sum will show up in QBO. How do I treat that $128 payment? I have already "accounted for" those charges as they came in, and I don't want to put the $128 in the books twice.
Has QuickBooks 2023 fixed the update option so we can turn off the automatic update? Will this matter going to be fixed anytime in the future? Does Intuit care that this issue really needs to be fixed with their backend department!! Just to note----please do NOT ask me to call into tech support---they are no help on this matter. This is a program issue and the programmers need to correct this flaw. I really am not sure why it has not been taken care of since this has been an issue since QB's 2018. Come on just correct the glitch in the program!!
Just curious .... I am currently a level 6. If I were to change positions or company affiliation, how to I retain my "level" when I have a new address? I have used QB Desktop for some years at multiple organizations, and I have no idea what my "level" would be if all my historical activity was in one place. It seems I should have used a personal email address & name, but alas, "too soon old, too late schmart". Is there a place where I can change my profile so at least now my level will go with me wherever I go?
