QuickBooks Q&A

A client recently went to online. I'm trying to do their quarterly reports. The SUTA report shows up, but the MO 941 state withholding form I can't find and not sure how to add it if it's even possible.

I am new to QuickBooks online and after reconciliation was completed last year, my CPA told me that I had four duplicate AMEX credit card payments. I deleted them and it appears that she made a journal entry for these entries too. Now I cannot reconcile because my opening balance is wrong. How can I fix it? I see the payments and the journal entries so I am not sure if added the 4 payments back will fix the issue. Any suggestions?
I usually find this option under accountant tools but don't see this is available for this client.
all of a sudden the whole QBO windows goes to a very tiny font and I can't deal with anything. If I boost the scale on my computer, everything is off to the right of my screen
I just migrated from Desktop after 20 years to Online Advanced. In Desktop, I used Custom Fields to track keep track of different types of equipment in customer's homes, i.e. water heaters, sump pumps, etc. When that information was entered for a customer in Desktop it would re-populate the next time I created a new invoice or estimate and I would just update the information as needed. However, in Online Advanced, the Custom Field data does not seem to re-populate when creating new invoices. The fields are blank. Is there a way to make the data re-populate or is the data only saved for the individual invoice for reporting purposes. The only reason I upgraded to Advanced was to be able to create more than 3 Custom Fields.
What is my recourse when Quickbooks sends an invoice is paid, then reverses the transaction due to it being a fraudulent transaction? No where in my email saying the invoice was paid, that it may take 5 business days to clear, and 2 different times I was told by Quickbooks personnel the transaction was fine and they had the funds. Now the buyer has the piece of equipment, and I have no money. This is the first time I have used online pay through Quickbooks desktop.Doing some digging into my merchant services account once I realized I probably wasn't getting paid, I realized the buyer tried paying the invoice 84 times with different bank and credit card accounts until on the 85th time they found one that worked, which triggered the "invoice paid" email.I can get locked out of Quickbooks if I use the wrong password 5 times, but someone can try paying an invoice 85 times over 30 minutes and that doesn't trip some sort of fraud notice?Seems insane to me.

I was with ADP from January to June 2024. Then switched to quickbooks from July to December. Where do I find all my w2 and w3s for my employees during this time?
Hello everyone, Typically QBO will match a bunch of customer payments into one amount and deposit into the bank for say $1,000.00 so you don't have to manually match the various customer payments. However, sometimes that match feature breaks and you have to do it manually. To find the details of the $1,000.00 I would go to Sales > Deposits > Select Deposit for $1,000.00. But if the transaction is large - say in the millions, the details will not display all the transaction that add up to that million. Does anyone know why it stopped a quarter of the way and how to fix it? See screenshot of the page I'm referring to.

My most recent checking account entry is 7/31/23 - I just added a deposit record and a new check this morning. Print Checks shows items through 4/25 (as it should).

I am having an issue trying to apply a credit memo I have created for a bad debt. I have done this before without the problem I am experiencing today. I have the credit memo created, and I am trying to apply it, following the steps from Intuit below: Step 5: Apply the credit memo to the invoiceSelect + New.Under Customers, select Receive payment. From the Customer ▼ dropdown, select the appropriate customer. From the Outstanding Transactions section, select the invoice. From the Credits section, select the credit memo.Select Save and Close. The uncollectible receivable now appears on your Profit and Loss report under the Bad Debts expense account. (These are from this help page.) However, after completing the above steps, when I go back to view it after saving, I see that it popped the amount of the credit memo into the "Amount Received" field at the top and applied tht amount it to "Undeposited Funds." So I
