We are a small non-profit with a scholarship program. We track our restricted donations and awards using a restricted net asset account. This allows easy monitoring of the scholarship fund on our statement of financial position report. I now want to move funds from our checking account to the equity account. What is the best mechanism for doing this?

Our small, nonprofit scholarship foundation offers dozens of distinctly named scholarships for which we want to track donations, outgoing scholarship payments, and investment value. A small group of volunteers are setting up QuickBooks Online Plus (licensed from TechSoup) for the first time; our bookkeeping was previously done manually. We are researching the best option for tracking the scholarship funds in QB and would love community input. We thought about using QB class tracking, but it looks like we would be at/over the limit of 40 classes. Another possibility is using projects. Are projects the appropriate concept? Can we track project donations by customer/donor, then expenses would be for scholarship payouts to schools? Would we also be able to track the scholarship recipient in this scenario? What other methods might allow us to track activities for 40+ scholarship funds? Thanks in advance for your ideas!
Context:2 currencies - U.S. dollars and MX pesos.Home currency: pesosEntries of transactions in U.S. bank zeroes out at end of month. Problem:The P&L report (in the home currency of pesos) is NOT zero'd out.No idea why...I'm guessing that the issue is related to an error in exchange rate calculation - perhaps the wrong date entered for a transaction? - but not sure how to fix it.Thanks as always for your insight and help.

I had Guideline last year and cancelled at the beginning of 11/2024. Now i am unable to remove the payroll item from employees payroll contributions (note we never contributed). I have contacted guideline and they confirmed it was cancelled. They told me to contact QB support and they said to contact Guideline. So basically i am unable to get help. I went to every possible setting i know of in QB to try to disable and get the messages per the attachment. I remove QB from the Guideline website. Even though it is cancelled when i run payroll it still syncs with Guideline.Any advice how to get rid of it? QB 2024 Desktop enterprise

Using Quickbooks Online, we were receiving emails about payments being received when a customer payed an invoice. For about 1 week we have not received those notifications at all. I've searched the community database and I can't find a valid answer on how to fix this issue.It states that you need to:Choose Account from the Online Service Center page.Select Settings & Alerts.In the Email Alerts section, choose Yes for each notification you've like to receive.Enter the email address where you'd like to receive this notifications. Click on Save Changes"Except that those options have been removed and the information isn't able to be used, you can only choose a landing page and that is it.. When in Multi User mode QB'S will kick out two of our three users randomly throughout the day, I've tried running the file dr and made sure the server was the only PC hosting. When running a scan it does say there is an issue with the network and that it was fixed. It also tells me that QB Monitoring service isn't running but when I check services it's always running I'm not sure what else to try.

i was contacted via phone by someone posing as a QuickBooks support agent. they said quickbooks has the annual license fee and then a seperate support fee. is this correct? i paid the amount and received a receipt. the receipt came from [email address removed] is this a valid QuickBooks support team?
