Hey QB! 👋 We’re having major headaches with wage tracking in QuickBooks Online. 💀 We initially used QB Payroll Core and tracked our time activities with property, class, and customer information. Hello,I've seen explanations for solving my problem for online versions but I can't seem to find a solution for the desktop version. I'm trying to remove a very old (2015!) transaction in my download file. I'm unable to match it to the corresponding transaction in my register even though the name and amounts match. I haven't had any issues until now with this but I need to clear my downloaded transactions in order to fix a bank feed issue. Quickbooks support won't help me- they say I have to buy the online version for help.

I had everything reconciled to date and old items keep showing up when I try to reconcile the new month. If I remove the item, I get an error that an old reconciliation is now out of balance, so I have to put it back and mark it clear in the register, so it won't have a prior month out of balance, but the transaction is still showing up when I try to reconcile the current month. Where can I find what is going wrong within the system? Everything looks correctly deposited and applied from my end.
I'm using QB Premier Plus Contractor Edition Desktop in Windows 11 I downloaded my transactions from my bank and when I click on Match existing transaction the existing transactions dont show up. They are in my register and they have no check mark or thunderbolt next to them. whats the problem??
Whenever I click the "Write checks" button on the dashboard its does not auto populate with the correct number in sequence based on the last check number I used. I have noticed that when I print a check the correct "next check number" does display correctly on that screen. However, when I go to write my next check, the correct number does not show. I sometimes advance in numbers as I keep some blank checks with me should I need to hand write one. In my instance, it is currently stuck on #1340, a number I never used, likely because I made an error when writing it, and as such discarded it and moved to the next one. I did not have this problem on QB desktop, whenever I would write a check it would populate with the next number in sequence based on the last check that I entered. If I advanced this number manually for the aforementioned reason, it would reflect this when I would write my next check.Is there to setting to fix
The only options of rates to enter are federal loan interest assessment rate, unemployment insurance rate, and workforce development fee rate. Should I just add the 5% to one of these or is there a separate way in the payroll system to address. Appears this is just an assessment for 2025 so assuming it goes away in 2026 but not sure. Any help is appreciated.
I notice that Apple QBO mobile provides several years of transaction history, bit Android is limited to 1 year. Can Android also be set to show several years of transaction history?
Hi Everyone. I do not recommend turning on the automatic tax payment feature in Intuit. They will withdraw funds from your account throughout the year even if they are not due till the end of the year. Example: Federal Unemployment 940. They will begin taking funds out each payroll and hold the funds until they are due and then pay them. If you earn interest in your operating payroll account, it would be better for you to earn the interest instead of intuit

Our QB Desktop Plus subscription is due for renewal by February 1st, 2024. We sold the business and closed almost all of our transactions. About the only transaction to enter after renewal date will be to cut a check to the IRS in April 2024.Do I need to renew just for this, or can I enter entry and print a check without renewing?
I'm hoping there are some updated solutions to this long-standing issue. Here's the scenario: I create a purchase order for materials. The vendor ships a partial order, and I receive the partial shipment against the PO. I then receive an invoice for the partial, which is processed and paid. Later, the remaining materials arrive, and I receive them against the same PO. When the second invoice comes in and I attempt to match it to the item receipt, the system seems to show both receipts as if the first invoice was never entered or paid.What's causing this behavior, and how can I prevent it?Additionally, I have some vendors showing open items, but when I open the item list box, it's empty. What could be causing this?
About QuickBooks Self-Employed: If I have already recorded the income (marking it as business/income) from a company and then receive a 1099-NEC, when preparing my taxes with TurboTax (married filing jointly), should I still enter that form? Wouldn’t this add up and result in double income? How should I proceed?
In many cases we work for multiple individuals at the same company (customer). This requires us to send invoices to the individuals' attention for approval. Is there a way to utilize the Contacts tab within the customer record to allow for selection of the appropriate contact when creating an invoice?
Is there a way to create a report that has both the PO # listed and the Bill #? Thanks!
