What is the proper name for the Quickbooks Time or Quickbooks Workforce App? The same time tracking software is referred to by one name or the other several places and I don't know what to properly call it.Between the app, the sync module in QB Desktop, the emails from the software and this Intuit website (had to choose to post about QBTime, but my app says it's Workforce!), there is no consistency.
I ran a payroll report in T sheets. Tried to copy and paste it to a document and it doesn't show up.How do I do this?
I have employees that are not listed as users in QuickBooks, but they have access to Workforce/Time app to log in and out. Problem is they can see when the other employees are working and I want to disable this. If I go to the payroll portion and try to edit employees I don't get the option to edit this permission. Help Please!
For the first time this week, I received Timesheet Export Errors for several (but not all) employees that states the following: "Exporting 8.00 "Holiday" hours as "regular" because the user doesn't have a payroll item assigned for that time off code." I have reviewed the employees in question and all seem to be set up in QB correctly. Any thoughts?
I've set up an automatic unpaid break for 30 minutes once a shift exceeds 5 hours. I've assigned the break to all employees but I have some employees for whom a break is not showing on their timesheet. Does anyone know why this might be? Could employees be overriding or deleting the automatic break somehow?

Hello, One of our users are having trouble accessing the quickbooks andriod and iOS app for tsheets. It normally just gets stuck on a sync error, and multiple devices have been tried. They can sign into the browser fine but not the app. Other users can also use the app fine. I am having a hard time contacting support so I am posting here. Does anyone have tips, I would assume it isnt their account when the web browser works for them.
I already have a self employment account for my small business and got an invite to be a part time employee for an other company and my question is quick book is asking me to use my current account to login or create a new account I am unsure which one to do I don’t want our accounts to combine what do I do
I have an employee who wants to request time off for a time after her accrued hours reset. QB Time won't give an options for her to request the time off because it says she doesn't have any available time off. How do you manage Time off requests in QB time? This will happen for anyone who plans their vacation in advance. Time resets in January and vacation is schedule to be right after the time resets. Is there a way QB can accommodate these requests?
I was able to set up my quickbooks to automatically fill in the class for a job when I am entering a bill but how do I get it to fill in the class when I am filling in a timecard?
Hello! I have a question about how QB Time works with employees who might have a status change. I'm wondering if I mark an employee as Unpaid Leave of Absence status, will that remove their access to entering info in Time? We have some employees who are very part-time/occasional and in the past I would mark them as Unpaid Leave of Absence in between times they worked. But now that we're connected to Time/Workforce, I'm wondering if changing their employment status will affect their Time access? Thanks for your help!
When I enter employee's time into QT, I also need to designate the worker's comp code they worked under. This particular client is a construction company so they can work on 3-4 difference codes a day. I initially put it as a Service Item but it didn't track over and keep record of it.
QB Time removed the "Position" field from employee timesheets on 10/30/23 and haven't yet repaired it. Now I have to contact each employee and ask them which contract they were working on and manually enter each one. I tried the QB Time help chat, but I have now spent more than an hour with no results. (She said "they were having difficulty with QuickBooks" -- but they are QuickBooks!) When will your software engineers fix this? I understand the need to update, but you should test first the updates before going live. How will you be reimbursing your customers for the time your software was not functioning?
Employee is receiving an error message-You don't have access to this company- when clicking on QB time invitation. She is an employee in QBO but I cannot get her access to QB Time when sending the invitation multiple times. I have done this over the last year several times and can't figure out how to get this employee active in QB Time.

I want to integrate a desktop app with Quickbook Time , api call to get the access token results in Grant type not specified as the error while i have already specified the grant type as authorisation code 'authorization_code'.Do i have to manually enable the Grant type in the app.
I have contacted support several times this past week, and the only answer I have been getting is - "we are aware of the issue. Our engineers are working on it. Try again later." Suddenly, our employees could not create time entries because the labor types disappeared from the drop-down menu, and they could not continue without putting something in that field. This was a problem online and on the app. They told me they were working on it and couldn't give me an ETA. We changed the field so that it wasn't mandatory, allowing them to make their time entry. Then, a couple of hours later, some of them couldn't sync their time and submit their timesheet, or they couldn't log in to their account, and some apps wouldn't open at all. We did all the troubleshooting requested of us: removed the app, updated the app, updated the iOS, rebooted the phone, signed out and signed back in etc. It has only gotten worse. Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Does anyone at Intuit have
We are having serval people with issues loading time tracker. When they click to where they enter time, it just spins and doesn't allow them to enter anything.

Invitation links are too long for Outlook desktop app to display. Also some support website links do not work. support.qbo.intuit.com/us
I have hired an additional employee and entered their information in my QuickBooks desktop program. I have assigned his hourly wage to him. I have synced my desktop account to QuickBooks time app however it keeps giving me an error message that they employee does not have any payroll items assigned to him. I do have payroll items assigned to him however they keep giving me the error message there is not any items assigned to him and therefore it does not sync his hours then back to my QuickBooks desktop. Please help.
I haven't seen a resolution and QB support is no help. Once again QB removed a feature that actually worked for over a decade which is the old QB Pro Timer. I no longer have old CDs to install the program and can't copy from my old computer to Windows 11. Has anyone successfully done this or had success? Also looking for a very similar product from another competitor that will sync with QB Desktop. I'm a sole proprietor so I don't need anything complicated. As anyone who uses the new QB Time knows it is very complicated and messy compared to the old timer that allowed you to switch between clients numerous times a day. I can't keep using 2 computers just to have one that tracks time. With what Proadvisors are required to pay now for subscription, the least QB could do is keep a free and easy time product but they don't seem to support Proadvisors much anymore.
Lately. when I attempt to login to QuickBooks Time, and I request that the verification code be texted to the phone number in my account, I haven't received the text immediately. Oftentimes, I will click on "I didn't get a text message," and then I click "Text a code" again and then after a few minutes, I will receive the text with the code. Sometimes, I have to try only a couple of times. Today, I have tried numerous times with no success. Please can you have your programmers check on this, especially since the problem is getting worse.
Does QuickBooks Time allow us to enter tips for employees? We are receiving credit card tips from our Shopify website and from Shopify POS in our retail stores. We would like to allocate tips evenly among employees in the tip pool.
