Hello, Is there a way for terminated employees to NOT show up on the employee list when assigning classes. I am following the path of: Payroll Settings | Accounting | Class Tracking and several terminated employees are showing up in the list. Can they be excluded or will I be forced to still assign them to a class?Thanks
I was surprised to discover today, that Quickbooks Time Tracking Mobile app is allowing employees to request more vacation time than they have in their account balance. Is this because of something I have wrong in settings somewhere or a problem with the app? I really don't want to have to check employee vacation balances every time someone requests vacation from the mobile app for 160 employees.

No Quarterly CA DE-9 Shown in the Taxes -> Filling -> Archived Forms. In the Taxes -> Payroll Tax tab, there is no option to select quarterly form either.
On the payroll stub it shows our old Employer address. How do I change it to our new address?
The client is set up as the customer linked to a project. Should the insurance company be a sub-customer when the same insurance company may settle claims for multiple clients/projects?
Hello, We have just started a new job where our employees get a separate hourly rate. The rate they receive is equal to their normal OT rate so essentially every hour worked on the job is at an OT rate. Would I make a new hourly wage payroll item for the job with the special rate or would I simply reclassify all of the hours they worked as OT hours when I do payroll?
I need to change the Master Admin for one of our clients because the person currently listed as Master left the company. Chat support said I have to send them the Articles of Organization and Operating Agreement because it is an LLC. Assuming my client would have AND agree to provide those documents, QuickBooks has to secure way to get the documents to them. They want me to reply to an email they sent with those documents. This doesn't make any sense to me or my client. Is there some other way to get the Master Admin changed in QuickBooks Time?
Payroll tax question using QB online for payroll. At what point does QB online recognize unemployment taxes on a cash basis P&L, on the paycheck date or when the unemployment taxes are deposited with the federal and state governments?
Our employees spent out-of-pocket to obtain their fingerprints. How do I record it on the payroll? What account should I use? This will of course be non-taxable because it is a business-related expense.
Please I'm desperate for help, Quickbooks payroll will not update, I have over 3000 paychecks stuck in a que to send, the file is too large, I have spent over 20 hours with QB Customer Service to resolve this issue, I had my Network Carrier rebuild over night , still this morning I am unable to complete payroll , QB will not calculate taxes or payroll forms . The rep are asking me to delete and redo 3000 checks from 2021 thru current, this is a impossible request.
I'm using enterprise solutions and have searched and searched but cannot find a report to give me a total breakdown of wages by paycheck for a single employee.
The hourly rate is $22/hour and the annual salary is $$60,000 pro-rated over the remaining three months of the calendar year or $15,000.
I am following the instructions given but when I go to Resources/Tax Notice I get kicked back to the Payroll Tax page and Help gives me choices that are not related to uploading a tax notice.
when setting up a new employee in payroll, where do you set up the general ledger account code where these wages should be charged?
I have Quickbooks online. I am using the Quickbooks Online Core Payroll system. I cannot find my employees prior W-2's anywhere in the system. I have been searching help, trying to find forms in the Employee tabs and they are not anywhere. I checked through taxes and see no W-2's there. I have a State Audit coming up and I need to access the W-2s. I can't find the W-3 either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to go ahead and run the 2022 W2 now (in October) for an employee who will not be receiving any further paychecks this year? Or is that only possible to do after the Jan 1 2023?
If if go to Payroll --> Employees, it does not give a list of all the employees, past and present. However, if I go to Payroll --> Contractors, I can see this of contractors
i just started using payroll. i have been paying employees by checks. i would like to add past weekly salaries up to now in the system. But i am having hard time.
