No help here at all!
Too much $$$ overpay to handle via the next payroll...any suggestions other than having the employee wire the funds back to our account? The Quickbooks payroll piece of this is done -- the incorrect amount voided and a new entry approved. Thanks.

We ran payroll and no taxes were deducted so we ran it again and the SS/Med deducted twice on all checks and we paid the calculated liability - How do we reimburse the employee the over deducted SS/Med and get refunded back our overpayment?
The IRS does not allow us to issue electronic W2s unless employees consent. Some employees would still like to have online access to pay stubs, but not W2s. Thanks!!
Is there a way to find a paycheck that the date is in the future? I wrote the check on December 13, 2021 but the payday is 1/22/2022. I need to adjust the date on the check.
I ran payroll last week and the file did not export to my desktop (Mac) ledger. How do I create a .iif file to export in QB online payroll, so I can import it into my QB desktop for Mac ledger?
During the past year, business slowed. I ran payroll as scheduled for myself and my husband but wouldn't have the entire amount in bank to pay us our full paychecks all at once. So I have multiple withdrawals that I need to match up to a single paycheck. I am reading that you can't match multiple bank transactions to a single expense. So how would I record these in a way that they get matched to the paycheck they belong and all my accounts reconcile?
Need to upload company file, and no one at intuit will answer or they don't know!
I processed a new staff member payroll and federal taxes did not get deducted even though everything is setup correctly
I have tried to call in and post on community to get QuickBooks to turn on the ERC functionality for Recovery Starup Businesses and I keep being told the same thing over & over. They say the ERC expired on Sept 30th, but it clearly states on the IRS website that Recovery Startup Businesses can continue claiming the ERC in Q4 2021. They turned off this functionality recently and now they won't turn it back on. I have tried to go to ADP & Paychex, and both said they can't handle 2021 tax filings because it's too late in the year. QuickBooks deciding not to support the needs of startups this late in the year has caused a huge dilemma. Is my only option to have a CPA take over my payroll? Their fees are so high. Will any payroll company still take my business this late in the year?
It says "payroll" and "payroll expenses" and is clearly adding them to my total expenses twice making it inaccurate.
I have a SP, the business is only in my name on the DBA. Can I pay my wife to work for me as a contract labor ?
I am awaiting Quickbooks' payroll update for 2022 so that I can run January 2022 payroll for my salaried employees. Does anyone have an ETA on this update? The current (latest) version I have is update version 22116.
Intuit full service worked so well for us for many years. They took the web site down and we cancelled the service a year ago. Now that I'm about to do my own taxes, I find that QB is still happily filing federal tax forms for the whole year. WELL I KINDA NEED THEM TO STOP DOING THAT. But, as anyone who has attempted to get a hold of them knows very well, it's fairly impossible to get phone or text help. Does anyone know how to cut off a rogue business from filing tax forms for your company? One that is, say sinking faster than the Titanic?
Why wont my payroll submit? This is the 2nd week in a row and QB has no idea.
