These are deposits- credits to my account. They then show as negative amounts and expenses on my P&L. Why is this happening and what do I need to do differently?
The QBO app does not load expenses categories for 2 weeks now (only assets/liabilities). I was told that thisis a know problem but is still not fixed. What's going on?
how can I change the date on payroll checks
For my last pay period I input the incorrect pay period with the correct pay date. Now when I go to input payroll for this pay period, QB's won't let me because I already used it. How do I change a past period to the correct one?
I have a new employee that does not have email
It tells me to go to setting-account and setting-time. The trouble is that the "time" option is nowhere to be seen on my screen. I need to get payroll done this weekend, but support is unavailable.
I have to get a paper check for an employee, if I process the paper check on quick books and then go to the bank and have them write a check from the account, will that pull twice?
I get about halfway through the data entry (which is about half the number of line items in the full entry) and it just crashes. Any suggestions?
I instructed Intuit to paid $52.99 on 4/24/24. It was posted to QBO on 4/30/24. But it was posted again on 6/10/24! Why the duplication?
How to correct no account setup for new employee in workforce?
I entered the payroll checks and printed them but they are not showing up on/in the checking account register.
In my payroll tax center in QBO it shows that I need to pay a tax form and I already paid it. It is not letting me archive the tax form. Is there anyway around this?
I'm trying to set-up employees with worker's comp, but Quickbooks is asking for the rate %, but the rate isn't a percent of wages, but a flat rate per hour worked. I can't find a solution that makes sense.
I am not sure how long this has been happening, but we just noticed that the line for Accrued YTD PTO information on our staff's paystubs, is showing Month to Date, not Year to Date. I don't see anywhere in the system that I can change that, so I assume this is a glitch perhaps on QB Side? A preliminary google search doesn't show any solutions or any information regarding this. Anyone else have this issue or have a solution on how to get it to actually show YTD Accrual?
I can't get my archived 2023 941's to pull up. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
every single response had ZERO to do with the question I asked. so what good is the help function, if just unrelated response come up?
Hello, New QB user! I've ran through this topic on a couple threads and I'm still not seeing a well explained solution - at least not for a newbie like me :) We currently have a simple IRA ER match up to 3%. We are moving to a 401k, safe harbor QACA match with the following compensation match rules: Basic match – 100% of salary deferrals up to 1% of compensation, 1, plus 50% on the next 5% of compensation (3.5% of compensation total). My question. How would I go about setting this up correctly? I understand once I've created a payroll item I just assign it to each EE. I'm struggling how to actually create the payroll item so it reflects the different contribution rates based on EE contribution %. Thanks!
I was told a supervisor was going to call me in 30 minutes a week ago. Issue with updating info on app. Phone number and requesting a new debit card.
