We are wanting to make a purchase order that will populate all parts that are below reorder point for a specific vendor. Please advise on how to proceed.
I tried to enter payroll tax rates for 2025 and I am not seeing the option or correct year for the drop down menu. I have tried twice to have support call be back and still have not received a call back. Any other WA state businesses having this issue?

I would like to run a report showing a particular Employee and just the dates that he used Paid Time Off (PTO). I can run the report showing all the pay periods for the year, but I have to scroll through and write down all the dates on which he took PTO. I would like for the report to just show the dates he used PTO. Is this possible? Thank you.
I'd like to run my W-2s for 2024, but we are still waiting on a Payroll Update for year end with my Desktop subscription The forms section says to expect this mid-December. Am I missing something?
Why can't I change my address
I have had QuickBooks Online for over 4 years now. I run a home improvement company. Up until a few weeks ago, l've been able to edit estimates that I have started on my computer (I have to do it on the computer if I need a deposit from a customer since the deposit function is not available on the app). Well now, I am completely unable edit estimates entirely that were first created on my computer. Every estimate that needs a deposit, l've started on the computer first and then was able to edit and add things, including the deposit amount, through the QBO app. I can't edit estimates at all now on the QBO app that were first created on the desktop version on my computer. I've updated the app, restarted my iPhone, I have cleared the cache on the app and nothing is changing. Please help!

So we are getting a message to "Get payroll updates" When we go through this process it seems like it is updating but when it finishes the same date will still appear? This has been an ongoing issue for 3 months. Countless hours going back and forth with tech support. If we enter and run payroll for next week it will not take any taxes out of employee checks. I believe the last time this happened we had to run the database utility in single user mode which took us over 5 hours. Why is this happening and what is the fix? Having to do this every month should not be the option!
Hi - I saw this when I logged in this morning that QB Desktop 2021 will be discontinued. We currently have one and it's on an on-prem server. Are we still be able to access QB 2021 after 5/31/2024 without any issues if we don't upgrade? Will this end of support affect any of our historical data? Thank you.Alex
I need help with reclassifying owner's distributions to salary and then generating the appropriate payroll liabilities on the salary. how do i generate the payroll liabilities without writing a check and just reclassifying the owners distributions to salary?
My current Officer Wages in QB shows $36,401.19 so far for this year but I need to report between $75k-$80k to the IRS for the 2024 year. Last year my accountant simply created a "paper check" in QuickBooks so that I didn't have to take the difference out in actual draws but it will be appropriately reported as taxable income to the IRS. They suggested I do this again this year to make up the difference but they wanted $190 to do it. I'm assuming this is a simple change in QB that I can do and save myself nearly $200 - I hope! If so, is it that simple and what steps would I do in QB? Also, do I need to account for other taxes or anything that is part of Officer Wages? For example, do I simply make a paper check for $38,598.81 (Gross Pay)? or do I need to take into consideration FUTA taxes that have been paid for the year, or is this already part of the Officer Wages being totaled for the year? I am trying to create a PO from an estimate in QB Desktop. When I go to the estimate, create a PO is not an option. Only, create an invoice. How to I get the option of creating a PO from an estimate?
I am having trouble trying to find the best account to put loans made out to employees. Also, how to properly deduct loan payments from paychecks to where it will be recorded and updated to their actual balance. Is any of this even possible?

I wonder if this function has changed recently. When there was a credit note and an outstanding amount on a bill in the same amount, I could offset them by clicking on the mark as paid. It showed the amount paid is $0.00, which is correct in this case.Now I keep getting this message:
I use QuickBooks Online for my company and my clients. I can turn on late fees in my client QuickBooks online books, but unable to in my company/proadvisor books. I contacted support and they were unable to correct the problem, so they recorded the process, which took hours, months ago, and now I get an email every 2 weeks stating the engineers are working on and they don't expect to have an answer for another 2 weeks. This just goes and goes. I asked a rep, a "Intuit Small Business Solutions" rep, which apparently was only reaching out to sell me more products, as if I don't already use enough Intuit products, but he said he looked into and that this issue was "across the board so not a general fix". My question is as follows: are any other proadvisors not able to turn on late fees in their Online QuickBooks?
The issue is when the other 3 users are working they receive the error (attached). Their QB will freeze until I log completely off and sometimes I get kicked out in the process. It is very frustrating especially since one of the main users works from home and on the road. We have tried everything to stop this glitch from happening. I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service. We have had QB rebuild the company file, verified only the server is the host computer, created a completely new user for myself, paid a 3rd party to start a new company file ($3,000.00), paid IT company to redo our network and verified that all the computers on the network have the correct requirements. I have emailed the developers as well and our CSR several times. His final suggestion was rebuilding the company file and still we are having the same issues. Has anyone found something other than what I have listed that is causing these issues.
I have a check that was issued last year and need to void in this year. I want to know whether journal entries will be generated by QuickBooks desktop 2024 system. I also want to know whether i need to change original issue date of the check. Thank you.

We have multiple employees working on several projects. With the new invoice system, I am no longer able to select all billable hours on a project. I have to click on each employee, for each day of the billing period. This will make my invoices 15 pages long!
I just need a map of which field gets put in what location on a check. And what control I have over those choices.
I can't change my password in QB Desktop 2021, it gets stuck and as a result I cannot open any of my company files. I last opened these files August 2023, and I did download the newest version of QB desktop from the mac Appstore but there is no way to somehow open these company files, there are no options. Please help!
