An QB expert suggested me to bought QB Online Essentials for my company (which isn't even a month old), which doesn't have a payroll or any special features and we do not handle any inventory in US territory. I explained the purpose of the company, the products, and everything, and the QB expert's final suggestion was QBOE. Now I'm told it doesn't have any inventory, so I can't enter products, only services. Is this possible? I mean, why would I pay for QBplus if I'm only going to use 60% of the app? My business doesn't need more...not right now. What do you suggest?

I am migrating my QB Online company to Desktop (30 day trial) to see if it better suits my needs. I have tried multiple migrations and regardless of many attempts I am always missing some recaords. These missing records do not fall under the "what doesn't get migrated" category - they are the same as records that do get migrated and they are just missing. I notice during the Desktop Migration process it always stops at 10,000 records. Is there a finite limit to the number of records it can migrate?
Why do all my closed invoices show as a negative amount. I wasn’t overpaid and it’s showing the full amount but negative. Also the paid invoices are showing positive and have been paid in full

I know how to enter information for new employees, so please do not forward advice on that. My question is how am i transferring the information from Step 3 on the 2020 W4 form to quickbooks. In the past it was simple, employee filled out withhold 1 dependent, you wrote 1 dependent in quickbooks. Now for example on the 2020 W4: Step 3 Claim dependents, it wants me to enter the total amount qualifying children under 17 and multiply that by $2,000.00. how do I enter that information in quickbooks. I'm guessing the answer is obvious, but I just want to be accurate. Attachments.
Using QBO Essentials, when I save and schedule a custom report, the pop-up tells me I can view all schedules by selecting "View all schedules" from the Action dropdown menu. But I don't have that option in the dropdown menu. How do I view (and edit) the schedules for these reports? Why is QBO telling me there is a function that I'm unable to see?
Is there a way I can print a group of customer list according to their customer types? For example i have 10 customers who are type A and 10 are type b. I only want to print the type A but QB dont give me the option to sort it that way. The costumer type column shows all the types. I only want to print type A. Please help.
I upgraded our Desktop Pro Plus 2022 to Desktop Pro Plus 2024 successfully on my computer where the file is stored. I am running into difficulty upgrading our second computer. After trying many things I was able to get to a window that said to upgrade it - I clicked and it started working, however I have repeatedly gotten the message that says QB Installation failure with error code: ________________________________But there is no code so the only option I have is to click ok and do it again but get the same error code (with no actual code) - any ideas how I can get our other computer upgraded so we can use it? For instance, the imported data didn't carry over the account allocations, particularly for payroll, that will require the allocations to be rebuilt for every employee. I am a volunteer treasurer and don't have the time.

When does QuickBooks Online automatically create “Inventory Quantity Adjustment” transactions to the Inventory Shrinkage account, with the memo: – Quantity adjustment via our API integration, even though we are not sending any requests to create these adjustments? I have employees that work in two different states. Now MO is requiring sick pay. How do I setup sick pay to accrue on just the employees MO hours? We already have to have separate payroll items to account for KS vs MO pay, one each for regular, OT and Saturday pay for each state. I do not see that I can have sick pay accrue based on hours worked from only certain payroll items and not all hours from all payroll items. Am I missing something or is there really no way to do this in QB desktop? We would need to accrue 1 hour sick time for every 30 hours worked in MO. They can only USE 56 hours per year but can accrue more. Also, they can only roll over 80 hours to the next year.
Is Intuit aware of how impractical QuickBooks Online has become? Forms load slowly, pages frequently lag or crash, and closing the books now takes significantly longer. This inefficiency wastes time and money, as more resources are needed to update the books. What steps is Intuit taking to address these issues and will there be any major change in the product? Is QBO Advance faster? I'm reaching a point where some of my clients may need to switch back to QuickBooks Desktop or explore alternative solutions. However, I've also heard that Intuit plans to discontinue the desktop version shortly. Can you confirm this?
