The new experience reports supposedly export to excel and .csv BUT when doing so for excel the values are stored as text and for .csv come with a preceding accent character rendering both reports pretty useless without time consuming formatting. I hoped they would improve on the poor existing report exports to excel that come with unnecessary and frustrating formatting (like the old sage ones).when asking support they say "It's not technically an issue but more of a working as designed kind of feature" Does anyone know if that is correct and they are supposed to export values as text?
Hi,I had a BOS business account but they were not very nice to me so I closed that account and changed to TSB (which is my current bank).Transactions were made with that old (and now lo longer existing bank account) in November and December of 2022.I can not link to that bank account to get all the transactions as it has been closed. But I do have the bankstatements of all those transactions (not a csv file!).How can I still add that bank account to my quickbooks and add all transactions manually. As far as I can find and see, I can only link a bank account, but since it no longer exists, I can obviously not link it.Anyone knows how to add a new bank account manually to be able to manually add the transactions from my old business bank account?

I've just purchased my subscription for Quickbooks Online. Can I leave things for tonight and do the transfer from Desktop to Online tomorrow?
We have many clients who are CIS contractors and subcontractors and with the inevitable MTD for self-employment we have been pushing them to start using Quickbooks but why can a simple thing like creating a CIS invoice not be done using the mobile app? I know it is possible using a mobile web-browser but it's really fiddley and awkward which is not ideal. I hope there are plans to make this possible in the near future.
I have recently found out from HMRC that i have overdue payments of Employers NI due to not having "Yes" switched on in QB to be have NI relief. I have now corrected this in QB and switched "ON" employer NI relief so this should correct FPS fillings for this year they tell me. My issue is how do I correct for last tax year as I have overdue payments since October 2022. I run payroll monthly

I believe I now need to preserve my data for compliance purposes using the Data Only Export Tool.My question is: Once I have uploaded my data, will I be able to access it from any computer or just the computer that has my desktop programme installed?

Hi all,I've got a UK QuickBooks Advanced subscription and emails aren't delivering at all from QuickBooks (sales invoices, statements, receipts etc)I've been battling with QuickBooks Support who have clearly confirmed that QuickBooks is designed to send emails by spoofing our company email address which with any secure email setup will quite rightly have anti-spoofing measures in place and QuickBooks's 'solution' is to remove the spoofing security which is obviously not an option.They are totally uninterested in looking at this or admitting malpractice - has anyone else had this issue or have any recommendations of where to escalate this to?Thanks in advance!
