I'm looking for a listing of the individual items that total balance sheet amount.
this is the MOST irritating feature in quickbooks and I have used it for years. it takes SO MUCH TIME to continuously scroll all the way back up to the bottom of the page and find where I left off.
How can I set up a new client with only the bare minimum Chart of Accounts? I would like to set up the Chart of Accounts for my clients - it takes way too long to merge unnecessary accounts. "Making Inactive" doesn't work either because Quickbooks puts SO MANY subaccounts.

Now when I try to create an invoice, employee hours don't pop up on the right for me to add to the invoice. I have not been able to figure out how to recreate that option. Please assist if possible. Thank you!!

When using Billpay by Melio (and other ACH initiators), there was a description shown (name of vendor that we paid) when reviewing our bank account. Now it just says "Bill Pay Intuit". Our vendors that we pay also say their bank account no longer shows our Company name.
How do I make a Pro Forma Invoice?
The QB Checking actual balance is zero (all funds have made the transfer) but internally, the account has a balance and many transactions that never updated the bank register. How does this get corrected? What is Missing?

I just prepared an invoice and went back to find it, and it isn't there. How can I find it?
I recently billed an invoice for $686. The customer wrote the check for $678 and I don't catch it until I deposited the check which was 4 days overdue from the invoice due date. I don't care about the $8 difference. I changed the original invoice to $678 and manually linked the transaction. The invoice is showing paid in full. No matter what I do my tasks still say I have an overdue invoice and my invoice page still says I have $686 unpaid. When I specifically search for overdue invoices it say no matching invoices found. I just want the alert of there being and unpaid overdue invoice to go away since it is false. its like a glitch in the system.
I have what I hope to be a quick question and resolution.. I sent a wire to a vendor... Unfortunately it didnt go to the right account so the bank sent the wire back and then I was able to re-wire to the proper vendor account.. How do I record the money I got back from the bank? and actually they charged me $40 as well..Thanks
I have verified with my bank that several checks going back three years have been cleared by my bank. I used to have QB desktop and I reconciled every month and everything zeroed out. I recently switched to QB online but I don't think that's the problem. These checks continue to show up as uncleared even though they were reconciled? How do I "clear" them without changing the reconciliation for the bank account?
I thought this was supposed to be easy. I went into my QuickBooks app, went into transactions, and then went searching for the receipt scanner only to see nothing. It’s disappointing because there articles written saying where it’s supposed to be but it’s not there.
Can I add a line item to an invoice so that the date I am adding is in chronological order with the line item dates already on the invoice?
We have several contractors who have entered in their W-9 and bank information. The W-9s are there when we log in, but the bank information is not. I don't want to manually enter sensitive information. Why is it not showing up? The contractors have even sent me screenshots showing that they've entered their info. Anyone else having this problem?
I can see that you can manually share custom reports with other users. We put all of those together in a management report that we would everyone to be able to generate upon need, without having to ask the person who created it. Is this doable? I repeat I'm not talking about sharing the report output, I mean the possibility to generate the custom management report as it's been set
