The manager terminated an employee who was eligible for health insurance April 1st. The last two paychecks had health & dental deductions. I had already processed his direct deposit paycheck this morning, not knowing the employee was terminated last week when I was gone. This paycheck, essentially is his final check. How do I reimburse the employee for the deductions made in his last two paychecks, totals $148.06. I am using Desktop Pro 2018. In my mind, I would simply write a check to the employee, crediting the liability accounts but I am guessing this would mess up the liability balances between the balance sheet & the payroll module. So I was transitioning to a new computer. I used the old computer to complete payroll liabilities. The new computer's quickbooks are saying they are overdue and do not recognize that I did them already. How do I record these e-pay transactions? I use quickbooks desktop

We are a small nonprofit with one employee (me), payroll runs 2x per month. Due to lack of funds, we suspended payroll after the 8/22/2021 pay period. We now have funding and would like to run a one time catch-up payroll to cover my salary from 8/22 - 10/31 (so: one paycheck to cover that entire period). Two problems I've encountered with this: (1) the system is requiring me to pay on a per-pay period basis, and I can't select more than one pay period, and (2) the system is telling me that it already collected and paid payroll taxes for the balance of Q3 (8/22 - 9/30), so it is giving me an error. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

We are subscribed to Assisted Payroll. We recently had the need to change our banking information, specifically for payroll.We went to: Employees> My Payroll Service> Billing/Bank Information - to make the change.Same issue happens for: Employees> My Payroll Service> Account Info / Preferences As well as from 'My company' page when pressing one the 'Assisted Payroll' button on the left under 'Manage your Apps, Services & Subscriptions'. Long story short - after 5 reps and almost 6 hours on the phone trying numerous ways to resolve, including installation of QB, the issue remains unresolved.
