Hi everyone,I'm having an issue in QuickBooks Online while allocating bank transactions. When I start typing a Category in Account field, the transaction type automatically changes from "Expense" to "Transfer."I'm not clicking anything just typing the account name and QBO switches the type. I want to know why this happens and how to keep the transaction as an Expense if I’m just categorizing it.Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips would be appreciated!Thanks in advance.
I am in IT, and want to make sure we have a secure means for outside folks to share their bank account numbers with us, without relying on email and the like. Just as QuickBooks provides a secure means for folks to pay their invoices, I wonder if there's a form that QuickBooks provides that would let them input privileged banking data in a secure way.

I have Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise 2024. The vendor 1099 summary report includes only checks written to the vendor. Is it possible for this report to include both credit card payments and payments by check?
The bank balances in my chart of accounts are incorrect. However, the registers and the balance sheet agree and are correct. Why is the chart of accounts wrong and how do I fix it? I have re-booted, I have installed current updates. I even cleared cache. Tried chatting with support, but obviously I did not have the agent's full attention. After repeating my question to her twice, I waited and waited for a response....nothing. So I left the chat since she couldn't see fit to respond to my 2nd answer to her question. My time is valuable, we pay for support and we get trash support - this is nothing new.. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? My thought is maybe rebuilding the file? Thanks.
When creating a report it defaults to the modern layout. Then when you switch the layout to Classic View. It does not stay in the Classic view. Once to the Classic View and you want to for example open an expense account that report opens back up in the Modern view. This is frustrating as the Modern reporting is not what I want to view the report in. Is there a way to make the Classic report the permanent default layout?
Client purchased a QBO Premium Plus subscription. The conversion from desktop had so many issues I was unable to run the first payroll through QBO as planned. To get employees paid on time I ran another payroll through QBDT. This was after the last payroll prior to conversion in QBDT history was entered. Essentially, I need to enter an "after the fact" payroll in QBO Premium Plus to bring employees current. Because I've spent an inordinate amount of time dealing with one issue after another with this conversion I'm hoping there is a simple, straight forward way to accomplish this without spending hours with customer service....

The phone number is [Phone number removed] and the caller ID says SMYRNA. Whenever they get put on hold, they disappear when we try to pick up the call. Anyone else get these calls?
I have a client who has a Chase credit card account with multiple cards under the account. Recently the main (parent) card was hacked and needed to be replaced. We are able to connect the new main card to Quickbooks online but the other cards will not reconnect. When we try we are getting a message that the cards are already connected to a parent card. How do we fix this?
when trying to send emails from quickbooks to outlook i get an error that says outlook is not responding, restart outlook...this doesn't work. if i close outlook and then send the email, qb sends it without problem. please help

Customer paid online. Order was canceled and I need to issue a refund. QB is requireing a cc be entered manually for the refund. Customer refuses to give a cc over the phone for said refund to happen. How can I issue the refund and skip getting this transaction disputed?
Cash was used when payroll with direct deposit was set up but Intuit deducts from a bank account.
Has anyone else had this problem? I needed to update a client's account mappings for PR (Accounting Preferences (Mappings) screen under Payroll Set up). For example, Other Liability and Assets. I changed the account for Child Support, using the edit "pencil" there. It shows the correct account with account number on the detail screen where you designate it. Save, and now back on Accounting Preferences. But the Child Support item, while now looking like the right account, doesn't show the account number. Nor do the account numbers show on any of the Tax Liaibility accounts on that screen, although they are correct in the detail. We use account numbers with our clients and on this screen and elsewhere, seeing the numbers tells me that things are correct (too many times finding QBO-created accounts at the bottom of my COA with stuff in there that shouldn't be.) Why is this, and will the new PR run correctly or will QBO create it's own account as I h

We are looking for a third party payment option that integrates with QBO. NOT interested in QBs Payments. We want a platform that gives the customers an option to pay online or with a credit card but THEY pay the fee. Anyone have a good experience with any payment platforms?
