I can enter an employees time without assigning a customer. We do this with things like training or office meetings.My employees cannot enter time without picking a customer. Anyone know why this is and if there is a setting somewhere that this can be change to allow them to do this?
We have a customer "ABCD" who had 2 invoices:Invoice 01 - 50,000.00$Invoice 02 - 60,000.00$ The customer paid his invoices as follows:Invoice 01 - 50,000.00$ - paid 48,000.00$Invoice 02 - 60,000.00$ - paid 62,000.00$ So, as far as we are concerned, the debt had been settled.However, when I go to Customer in QBO and click on Receive payment, I am unable to input the amount higher than the actual debt per invoice. For the Invoice 02, I am unable to put 62K. I can go with the exact or lower number, but not the higher.What am I doing wrong here?

We assign Customer Account numbers to each of our customers (These are inputted via "Edit Customer", "Payment Settings", then "Account No." in QB Desktop Enterprise). When running a report such as AR Aging Summary, how can I add a column next to the Customer which shows their personalised Customer ID?

When an employee submits an expense claim and I have reviewed it, I'm now asked to create an expense. The problem I'm having is that for that expense it wants me to list a payment account. I don't have a proper payment account because the employee paid for this and I'm reimbursing them. Also, once I figure that part out is there a way for quickbooks payroll to see money owed to any employee from my expense claims/expenses and have that calculated and ready to pay or do I need to run a report and manually enter the amount in when I run payroll. I'm trying to have very few places to mess things up and I thought this process would be more intuitive.

Good day all,I got a elderly client with a very old version of quickbooks point of sale, i believe its the 2013 version.In there z-out options under filters workstation name i am seeing something total different to what the pc name is. Is there anyway to change the workstation name that is being see by quickbooks ? Secondly on the z-out can the name of the store be on that report ?
A client recently asked to pay via a bill payment platform of their choosing and I had to connect my business bank account to the platform.When I connected the account, the platform made a micro test deposit of 0.01 to my bank account to verify my details.Everything was fine, but now they haven't reversed the deposit or deducted the 0.01 from my account so my QBO is showing the deposit of 0.01. What do I do with it so it doesn't look like income.
We've had trouble getting Scheduled Reports to send; I've seen the many posts about UAC issues and incorrect compatibility settings for the Scheduled Task that gets created, but still running into a different issue. From the log file: Information 1 Scheduler WPF Software Acceleration has been enabled for QB. This is happening on 3 separate instances (one a fresh install), have tried using the QuickBooks Tool Hub to run repairs/fixes but still no dice. Latest updates installed. Support has already been contacted multiple times without any help or resolution. How do we get Scheduled Reports to actually work? Has anyone else seen this issue?
Is there any way to use Quickbooks to sort my personal income and expenses as well as my business income and expenses?
It says an error has occurred, try in a few hours. My bank says you are now connected to Quickbooks but it doesn't show updated transactions in Quickbooks. I am afraid to to delete the connection because of the warnings about losing transaction categories, rules etc.
Hello,My question is this: Should I enter a vehicle payment or use an interest expense account? I don't have the beginning balance of the loan, nor the end balance for the client's vehicle loan(s) from year to year. On top of that, the loan was refinanced during the next few years. I have the bank statements for the company, and payments have been made toward the vehicle(s) to each vendor. I also would like to know if a journal entry is best vs write a check. Thanks for the advice!
