We accidentally turned on the multi-currency but it shouldn't be the case. We've read that once activated, it cannot be turned off but we are unable to create transactions given the current assigned currencies in our bank accounts and chart of accounts list. Thanks

I used to be able to highlight the amount column and scroll down to click add subtotal.
When I view the screen of all journal entries that have been created, the column which includes the journal entry number cuts off the number (is not wide enough). How do I permanently widen the column so I can view the entire journal entry number? Presently I have to drill into the entry in order to see the full number. Very frustrating! I am using Premier Contractor Edition 2021 for desktops.
Hi guys. I am an S-corp owner (LLC based, single member.) Previously I paid for business expenses with my personal money; thus, to my knowledge, I should create journal entries to make an accountable plan and recorded as owner's equity. My questions are:1) Can I just reimburse myself once a year at year end (also my company's fiscal year ends 12/31) with one single check that includes all purchases made throughout the year?2) Journal entries: should the date of journal entry better be the same as the purchase date, or the actual date I created the journal entries? I have an invoice started in QBO that I'd like to update with a covered expense that I paid on behalf of the client (this is a pass-thru expense with no markup)
This is similar to the ongoing issue that QB has had with entire histories of invoices disappearing, usually only temporarily for days or weeks at a time. This time, recently created draft invoices have disappeared (ones created maybe 5 days ago), and new drafts are immediately erased after saving them. Posting here since the online assistant is currently/indefinitely broken as well.
Quickbooks Online allows me to create a bill and save it without ever entering a bill number? How can we enforce a bill number to be entered in order to create a bill. Some sort of warning message would be great when the user tries to click save, but I cannot find the setting
How can I report sales (or invoices) by shipping city or zip code?I am able to report by shipping "address", but this field begins with street number/name and I can't isolate the city or zip code for sorting.
Has anyone figured out how to export report data directly to a CSV file? Yes I know how to export to an xlsx file. But then I have the extra step on opening the xlsx file in Excel, and converting it to an csv file. Just trying to eliminate an unnecessary step. You might be wondering what advantage a csv file has? Well, it's smaller, hints that it's a data file and can be easier to manipulate in PowerQuery and in Notepad++.
When I need to contact the customer occasionally I have to look at my invoice to remember the location and name I used to be able to click on the customer's name from the invoice and it would open up an edit screen with the customer information and even icon to call or email the customer.Now when you click on the customer from an invoice, the phone number is not present.Yes I can back out of the invoice go on customer section find the customer open it up and then I have the phone number but why should I have to go through these extra steps that I didn't use to have to do before? It seems like a small thing but it's annoying it used to work fine.

hello. my goal is to create a view so I can see when I should ship items from which estimates. In our work clients accept an estimate and then might want items shipped and invoiced months later. To do so I'm creating a report showing all accepted invoices ordered by shipping date.I used the 'old view' of the "estimate by customer" report, there I can get the ship date, however even if I do order by ship date, customer grouping takes the preference so I can't see which estimates need to be shipped next at first grance.If I remove the grouping, there doesn't seem to be a way to inlcude the customer name in each row, thus making the report quite tedius to read.Any way to fix this? Also, I have the same problem with progress invoicing, I don't really know how to handle this situation when the shipping (and invoicing) is to be done for instance monthly. can quickbooks help or should I just write a renimder on my personal calendar?
Hello, I have started a new Quickbooks for Mac file and when running my first Verify Data I am getting the messages: Verify Target: Improper type with sales tax code. Rcrd = 211. Ref = 2Verify Target: Improper type with sales tax code. Rcrd = 216. Ref = 1 There are a lot more lines similar to these showing different record numbers, probably for all the sales receipts I have created. I have 2 Sales Tax entries in my items list, one for Out of State which I do not collect tax for and one for in state for which I do collect tax. The account for each is Sales Tax Payable. All my receipts are either Out of State or my state sales tax. In my Account list, Sales Tax Payable is assigned to Other Current Liabilities. I have attached screenshots of partial sales receipts in case it offers a clue. I suspect I have made a mistake when setting up my Sales Tax but I am not sure what to look for and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.Thank you.
