I need to send a letter to the Payments Team since the NINE phone calls/chat sessions with the QB "experts" has not resolved a reversed chargeback issue that has now been going on for 3 months! No one I've talked to seems to know what needs to be done.
I am using the Self-Employed version on Quickbooks online (for Mac) and updated my address under my profile. However, when I create a new invoice my old address still shows up. I tried rebooting my computer and the system. I called Quickbooks for technical support, but was told that since it is an online version they were going to charge me $199.00 to fix the problem. Any suggestions. Thanks!
The user used to be an "administrator", however the password was changed without their knowledge. The Audit log shows that the user "logged in" but if they didn't have the correct password, does that just mean they attempted, but they were unsuccessful?
trying to get in to quickbooks
A few partners in my firm have asked me to help with their clients. Therefore, I've had to use the partner's login info to access that client on QBO. I thought I would use Teams to get around this which works - I can see the partner's clients but....I now have 2 teams both with the same name but different clients. I'm afraid to ask other partners to add me to their team and end up with 15 teams, all named the same. Is there a way to change the team name so I know which team belongs to which partner? Thank you!
Got a notification that payment failed for our subscriptions. Debit card attached has not changed and balance is high in account, so no reason it should fail in the first place. Went to change the payment method to bank transfer in hopes of avoiding this issue from happening again (it's happened multiple times). When I go to edit payment method and add a new one, only the option for debit/credit can be used. Bank transfer and Paypal are grayed out and won't let me select either one.
i am a new user - inherited existing qb setup. i have 50 customers that i invoice periodically. have several qustions but will start with this: there is a message that is on all the invoices - how do i change that message on all 50 as easily as possible?
Hello all , so I use 2016 desktop version , problem I am having is I bought a new dump truck and have it under long term liability, however when i create a bill and make a payment it is adding to the original cost instead of decreasing the cost of the truck , not sure what is going on , any help would be so greatfull , thank you all in advance…Steve

Purchases by Product/Service detail report is close but it doesn't give me the option to group by customer. All I'm trying to do is see my job costs (items) by customer.
We are an accounting firm with a staff of 10. Pre 2021 we would set up their QB user name and passwords. Only the principals are pro advisors with Intuit Logins. Now after logging in, the staff are required to login into INTUIT as well.1. How do we manage the staff INTUIT logins?2. How do we connect them to our business? 3. Why do they need 3rd party authentication when they have already logged into QB? We don't want them using a cell phone for a text and an email is such a PITA.4. We all use admin from time to time to access admin only functions. But now they can't use admin with their INTUIT login because they are only "basic users". Today I had to update my payment method for Quickbooks (new card had been issued). Whoever designed the screens that guide this process should be placed in a burlap bag and beaten, and here's why: When updating your payment method, the confirmation button says "Save and Use this card." After clicking this button, nothing happens. No visual feedback occurs. And the card wasn't added. So, I went back and added my card again. Sure enough, an hour later my bank account balance is BEYOND ZERO. It turns out that all my attempts were indeed transacting, but with absolutely no confirmation or notifications. The correct way to update your billing: Settings (gear icon) > Account and Settings > Billing and Subscription If you want anger and a depleted bank account: My Avatar Icon > Manage your Intuit Account > Products and BillingIf you update from this path, you will encounter the poisonous screen I mentioned above. This used to reflect correctly, but stopped working. Thankfully the bank activity is still coming through and reflecting the correct cash balance in the banking transactions views. I hate to see this each time I login "$0 Current cash balance" knowing that it is WAY off. Please help.
