I just spoke with an amazing business manager at QuickBooks. He gave me a lot of information. The one piece I need are instructions on how to create a bill of materials and include landed costs. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you for your help!
My connect to PayPal has not been working properly. Payments received are not matching with the invoices that I have. After deleting it and re-installing it, the app finally found one invoice to match, but there's an invoice for every transaction. There's also no way to make it match up.

Hello!I am using the NeonOne integration with Quickbooks online. I work with a non-profit, and we get donation, membership and event registration payments in NeonOne. The transactions for each of these payments are syncing daily. However, we only receive the cash payments for all these transactions from NeonOne once per month in one single batch payment. My question is, what is the right way to set up the transactions that are coming over daily from NeonOne without any cash receipt? I thought they should be set up as Sales Receipts, but now I'm not sure that is right because I am not getting the cash at that time. Should I bet setting these transactions up as Invoices? Then I could clear the invoices with the monthly payment I get from NeonOne for all the transactions?
Hello, I am using another account to post this since I am locked out of the other one. I recently signed up for a quick books online account yesterday. After being signed out yesterday, I tried to sign into the account and it says "Unfortunately, there is no QuickBooks Online company or QuickBooks Accountant account associated". Despite the fact that I literally signed up for it yesterday and Quick books did charge my account yesterday for the membership fee. I Logged out and sign in again and I got the same result. I tried changing the password for the account, tried to sign in, then it locked out the account. I wait for the 15 minute wait to be over, and tried to sign in again, but after attempting one sign in attempt it locked the account again. I even tried doing it from a different browser and I got the same result. I tried going to the support page to contact support, but It asks me to log into the account first, which I cannot d
My internet connection is great tried multiple browsers (not simultaneously), and cleared my cache and cookies.
Hi all So for setting up bank feeds and etc, I know how to do. Question is how do I start reconciliating all of it. I can link Bank and Credit card.Bank is easy, I can link with credit card. I have a third party app which imports sales for me. Some transactions are self explanatory, but at times if there's a discount and it's posted a later date, how can I clear it? Sometimes even if I do it shows negative on my customers even thought it's cleared. Credit Card, how would I record this? Is it the same bank, but instead of a asset it will be liability. Some credit card payments for example shipping can be billed monthly. Some expenses in there are not tied to the business, so how can I clear it even if there's a partial amount?
I am trying to move several invoices from one income account to another
I am still learning to use my Quickbooks 2008. How do I account for a fee for accepting credit card from a customer to apply to their invoice. Example - Inv for $99, $97 applied to bank account, how do I get the $2 into the expense? I have read the other answers and I don't have an option to add deposit in the 'make deposit' screen. I am also unable to add expense to invoice.
I have downloaded and catergorized transactions from my bank and credit card. I want a simple report to just list what I've spent for expenses and the amount of income. The various reports I try don't work. Profit and Loss includes only some of the categories. Balance sheet has them all, but I only want the report to include entries from July until now and when I choose a custom report and enter the dates, all the credit card transactions from the year are included. Any ideas?

I called customer service asking for what I thought should be a very easy statement or report to send to customers and they said IT has to create a custom one for me (which is amazing). Here all what I want: I accept retainers then bill my time at an hourly rate. As is do work on a case on a day I then create an invoice that includes the date, product/service, a description, the QTY, rate, and total for that invoice. Each day I work in the case is a separate invoice.I need a statement that includes all invoices and payments for a given customer and that includes the product/service and description information for all invoices to date. I cannot find how to create a statement I can mail that includes product/service and description. I also need it to make clear to the client what they balance due is.It is just hard for me to believe this is not a basic thing many business need and use. They said statements in QB are not as detailed as invoices.
I recently upgraded from desktop to QBO, but since our file was so large, we decided not to import the full company file. As a result, I'm still collecting payments from 2023 invoices that don't exist in QBO. When i get a client payment that has 2023 and 2024 payments, I can only reconcile the 2024 payments and then have left over money. How to you categorize that extra payment amount?Thanks, Chris
Hello all.. We receive a $75000 grant each year but they require a monthly invoice to pay us our monthly payment. I booked the whole amount when we were awarded the grant. However, when I set up a recurring invoice, it increases the total 'income' for the grant. How do I make the invoices and not increase the total amount awarded? Thanks!
After over a year of calls and chats with Intuit support and getting nowhere, I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone has a similar problem and figured out a way to get through the byzantine payroll tax resolution process. We use Quickbooks Assisted Payroll. Since Q3 2023, I've received a quarterly notice that they are unable to file or pay our Oregon taxes because the paid family leave isn't set up correctly. I've confirmed many times with support that it is set up correctly. I've been told everything from, delete the entries and put them in again and it will be fine next quarter (it wasn't) to this was never escalated to the payroll tax team so we're doing that now and you should hear back from them in a few days (that was in July and I've never heard from them) to today's call, I can't help you because the tax team only responds to emails (they don't). I need help from someone real at QB or Intuit. I have QB Desktop Premier PLus 2024 with a 2 user license. All of a sudden this weekend one of the licenses is missing and now available even when I sync. I got a call from Intuit. Eric WhiteIntuit Account Manager Contact Number[Removed]Extn 1009 This guy tells me that the best way to fix it is to pay $2177 to get a new license and he will refund $866 to my CC for the original license. After saying that I shouldn't have to do this because my license is good through next year he tries to have the tech group fix my installation. At the time of this writting they are still working on it. I feel this is a scam and tell him so. Finally after a couple of hours of this I agree to pay the money with the refund coming back to me for the original money spent.
