Subscription Renewal - I need to renew my subscription due 12/29/24 tomorrow. I was told by support 10 days ago they would be available today, 12/28/24. Can't find a way to pay online and can't get a Support on the Phone. I can see in the system the msg below(*). Will I be automatically charged? Hello, lets assume that customer pays 100 USD that covers open balances of several outstanding invoices. Which report can show how this amount of 100 USD was spread between invoices. Invoices and Received Payments report shows payment and original invoice amount not the settlement amount.  Thank you.  

QuickBooks states on its website that the multi-monitor setup can only be used with 100% scaling. Why is there not the option to use scaling? Why cant screens be opened up on different monitors so that the program can be utilized across additional screens with the ability to have different resolutions? It seems that so many other programs have this ability, yet for the high cost of ownership, the QuickBooks Desktop program has yet to catch up with the other programs that are out there.   Intuit, when might this seemingly simple and hugely helpful feature be available from the QuickBooks Desktop Program?   Please let the community know!!!!! Thanks,

Quickbooks Forum 261124 Change Filename from Mustang to MartinDear Fellow Quickbooks usersI am using an old version of Quickbooks, only for some rental properties, and a very small business I have. I don't  do anything online.  No need.  Up til about 5 years ago, I kept books on Quickbooks for a rental property I owned, Mustang. I sold the property but kept the quickbooks file on my hard drive.. Recently I began renting out another property, Martin.So I resurrected the Mustang file and renamed the company to Martin and began recording transactions. But now I find that when I try to log in, the company file is still named "5033 Mustang Way QBW". What's more, I can't find the Mustang file on my hard drive to rename it.I need some help to find the file and rename it so I can find it when I log in to Quickbooks.JC

I need to have my invoice print in the order which I add the lines but the print preview puts the invoice in date order - help!

We pay semimonthly on the 1st and 15th. I ran payroll today for the direct deposits to process with the 1st being New Year's Day. The checks got dated 12/31, but they need to be 1/1 to not be included in 2024. Can I change the dates after the payroll has processed?

I want to keep Quickbooks Desktop.  I do not want Quickbooks Online

We purchased QuickBooks Online; however, we were waiting until after the new year to migrate to the new system.  Our QuickBooks Desktop account is active until March.  We are trying to submit Payroll from QuickBooks Desktop; however, it says we need to "Reactivate" our subscription.  There is also a button to Verify, which we have done as well.  After selecting "Reactivate," it says our subscription is active.  We close out of that screen, but the forms still do not open and we see the same error message to Reactivate or Verify.  The left column says that our subscription is inactive; however, in our Intuit accounts, it says it is active.  Please help us figure out how to continue to use QB Desktop until we officially migrate to Online.  Thanks!

I have my employees enter time through QBO where they provide a date of service, start time, end time, and client. When I go to generate the "Time Activities by Client Detail" report in QBO Plus and customize the columns to show "Start Time" and "End Time" they both show up as blank. When I click on one of the rows for each time entry, I see the start/end time in there. Why is QBO not correctly pulling the data from the time entries?

I received an email from a Security Company telling me I need to be PCI compliant due to a Law from 2006.  Is this a scam?  I do not handle any credit card transactions with clients.  My only credit card business is by E-Invoice through Intuit Quickbooks online merchant account.  I don't ever receive any customer card number and my website is for information only and customers can't order through my site.  Do I need to be PCI compliant. Jim. I have a one member S corp. My payroll provider is Gusto - they don't link directly to my 401k so what I had them do is defer my solo 401k contribution account from my paycheck. Then I make an employee contribution directly from my bank to my 401k.  How do I properly categorize the bank to 401k transaction in quickbooks online? Keep in mind Gusto will handle reporting the deferment on the paycheck. 

I am wondering if it is addressing the $500 prepayment made by the client.

My company chart of accounts is 8 digits in total. However, QBO has stricted it to 7 digits. As a result, I am unable to input my chart of accounts numbers. Please help.

how do I adjust the alignment for my computer checks.

Every month we receive a large deposit from our state government to hold for our customers - it's part of a heating oil delivery energy assistance program. The customers will eventually call into us and request a delivery using that energy assistance money. How can I go about turning that large deposit that will come in as a bank transaction into a credit labeled as "Energy Assistance" on every customer's account. Is there any way I can then view that available credit amount when looking at the customer's page?Thank you!

I just got a new computer and now my clients that use 2024 QBDT Enterprise do not have the reporting agent option for me to e-file their quarterly reports.  I am not using the accountant's copy, I am using a live quickbooks file and logging in with my Enterprise Accountant 24.0 software.  I have tried to updated the program, update payroll, run a verify, run a rebuild and nothing has helped.  I can open the company file on another computer in our office with Enterprise Accountant 24.0 software and the reporting agent options are there.  I still have reporting agent options for my clients using QBDT 2024 (not Enterprise).  Is there some sort of option I've overlooked?

I am creating a new QuickBooks Desktop company file for an existing business at start of their new fiscal year.  Do I have to re-enter all open invoices at the end of their fiscal year or can I enter a balance only for each customer?

I have been using Accountant version of the payroll software since it was PayCycle prior to Intuit's acquisition.  This product has helped me grow a payroll arm of my practice.  However, with Intuit's price increases and never ending changes, it has become more and more difficult.  As of this morning, we went to process payroll for a client only to learn that we no longer have the option to print payroll checks on blank check stock.  We either have to purchase pre-printed checks or establish a 3rd party provider to print.  No communication, no notice, nothing.  What is everyone else doing?  I am so angry right now!
